Belladonna's gangbanger - traditional vibrator discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by Dawn (Lilac Distraction)

Belladonna's Gangbanger may seem intimidating when you look at the actual size of the product and consider the name of it. It has an insertable length of 11" with a total length of 14 1/2". However, Belladonna's Gangbanger is an amazing toy even for beginners!

This toy can be used for both vaginal and anal play. The Titanmen Crankshaft is the exact same thing made in black and is billed as an anal vibrator. With the flexibility of the toy, it can be inserted vaginally and bent so that the bottom bullet stimulates the clitoris. This toy is also great for anal pros and beginners, alike! My boyfriend and I aren't very experienced with anal play but both had no problems with this toy and found it to be a mind-blowing experience!

This Gangbanger also packs a major punch when it comes to vibration! While giving it a good inspection when I first took it out of the package, I was amazed with how powerful and rumbly it was. I put it on my desk and it shoot the entire thing! With that much power, you'd expect it to be quite noisy, but it's super quiet. It sounds like a light white noise. While it may not look discreet, the sound certainly is, so this is great for getting wild when there are people in the next room.

The toy is also waterproof, so it can be enjoyed in the shower or bath. I would highly suggest using a silicone lube if you were to engage in play time in the water.

The Gangbanger is made of phthalate-free PVC and the base is plastic. At first, I wasn't sure why they made a toy suited for anal play out of PVC, because it has a material safety rating of 2. When I got the toy, however, I was amazed by how flexible and soft it was, which made me realize that PVC is a good, softer material, which is good for those experimenting with anal play. I make sure to use toy covers or condoms with it just to make it easier to clean, but it can be cleaned with toy-cleaner or antibacterial soap and warm water. PVC is also compatible with water-based and silicone lubes.

When taking it out of the package, it did have a bit of a PVC smell to it, but after a good wash and a little airing out time, the smell was pretty much gone. It wasn't tacky, but it have a slight grab to it.

The design of the Gangbanger allows for one to work themselves up gradually when used for anal play. You can insert it up to the second bullet and still have an amazing experience, or go a little further with it and have your mid blown. When used vaginally, the bullets add extra stimulation around the vaginal opening and around the g-spot. The size may be intimidating to some, but as a beginner to anal play, I was not intimidated at all, and neither was my boyfriend who was a first-timer.

This toy is not discreet in the slightest. The size also makes it a little harder to hide and store. I find that it fits very well in a dresser drawer or a medium sized plastic tool-box. I would not suggest travelling with this toy if you have to be discreet with anything.

The battery pack is attached to the base of the toy. It takes 4 AA batteries. All you have to do is twist and the base will pop right off. Insert the batteries into the battery compartment attached to the base and twist it back on. It does have markers on it to show you when it is closed all the way and which direction to twist to open it.

The Gangbanger seriously surprised me when it came to the functions! They are truly unique! Each bullet has 10 functions and is controlled by different buttons on the base. The top button will turn each bullet on or off, which makes this a quick-off toy. The lower buttons control the vibrations and functions of the bullets, so you can customize your settings to find the best thing for you.

The functions are amazing! It's not your typical vibrating, escalating, pulsating deal. The the first three functions are your low, medium, and high settings. These speeds are indicated by the lights on the base. Green is low, orange is medium and red is high. The next is a pulsating function. The rest of the functions are variations of escalating and pulsating, but I really love what I call the "earthquake" function where it starts rumbling on low, escalates to high, and pulses a few times. Another great thing about the bullets being controlled by different buttons is that you can set the pulsating functions to pulse together, or back and forth. I really have never seen another toy like this!

Because this toy is made of PVC, you'll want to make sure you give it a good washing before and after use, or use condoms or toy covers, especially if you plan on sharing this toy. It can be washed in warm water with anti-bacterial soap or with toy-cleaner.

The PVC is compatible with water-based and silicone lubricants, as well.

Storage is easy as long as you have enough space to put it. It doesn't pick up lint or dust like other materials are known to. To prolong the life of the toy and the batteries, make sure you remove the battery compartment and the batteries.
