This is a great toy to introduce someone to an anal plug. Granted, this is not as small, or as good of an introduction as something smaller, like graduated anal beads, but the benefit over other small/beginner toys is that this one stays in place once inside. I have had another toy (exactly the same size and shape) but there are ripples on that one. This one is totally smooth, and a little flexible.

The material is like a soft rubber, which is great for anal, because you want something firm, yet not uncomfortable. It is not silicone, not hard plastic, and not jelly. The material is better than I thought it was going to be from the other reviews. The closest comparison I can make is that his feels like an extra firm jelly like toy. I like this material better than hard plastic or glass for beginners because those can be intimidating or uncomfortable when you are just starting out. One thing to keep in mind, however, is that PVC is porous, so sharing this toy is not really recommended. Unlike other toys, putting a condom over this is probably not advisable, as another reviewer said, this may lead to the toy becoming irretrievable. (Something NO ONE wants to deal with.)

It is a little disappointing that the bullet is not waterproof, but it is removable, so if you want to use it in the shower or bath or in the water, you can remove it and be good to go. The strength of the bullet is actually pretty good for the size, but it tends to die pretty quickly.

My girlfriend is really tight, and it is difficult to get her interested in back door play, yet she loved this toy, and I loved playing with it with her. If you are experienced, however, this won't likely do too much for you.
