I have tried electric stimulation toys in the past. I have stuck to the external ones so far and have enjoyed them from time to time, especially on my nipples. I saw this plug and thought I should take the plunge and see what internal electric impulses felt like. I first thought that this device could cause electroejaculation, but that (for people anyways) is too painful and done under general anesthesia. The Elektra is still a fun and premium plug from Eden.

First, it is very nicely boxed and packaged. I will keep the box for storage and to keep all the parts together. It is made from silicone, so it is very safe, and make sure to wash with soap and water or use a toy cleaner. I wouldn't use bleach on this toy due to the metal conducting strips down the side. Make sure to use plenty of water-based lube. Water-based lube works best for silicone toys, and you need the wetness to help conduct the electric impulses from the toy.

I had to charge the plug and the remote first with the USB power cord that is included with the set. It is always a huge plus when both the remote and toy are rechargeable. There is a power button on the plug and another on the remote. This plug is a medium-sized toy, as far as plugs go. Anyone with some anal experience will have no trouble putting this toy in. With a decent amount of water-based lube, the plug slips right in. I cycled through the vibration modes first. There are seven to chose from, and all are quite nice. If you have read any of my previous reviews, you know I am not a huge fan of anal vibrations, but the vibrator aspect of the plug works fantastically. There is a separate button to turn of the three levels of shocks. As far as I can tell, you cannot run both the vibes and the shocks at the same time. The instructions for this toy were not very thorough, and for a semi-complicated toy I think better ones are needed. The anal shocking was not painful at all. I would describe it as a pinching/clenching sensation. I did find it rather pleasurable. I was not able to orgasm from either the vibrations or the shocking aspect of the plug, but the sensations are enjoyable.

I still like this plug, but it is never going to be a go-to toy. It will be a once in a while kink that will always be fun but not my preferred method of stimulation. Still worth it, and you should give it a shot if you are into electric shock.
