Ultra electric anal pearl - vibrating probe discontinued by Toy's heart - review by Mamastoys

The Ultra Electric Anal Pearls is exactly what it says - anal beads. However, ultra and electric should not be used with this toy. The pearls are a handheld device that runs off of two AA batteries. The handle is a round ribbed handle that has a cord attached. The cord leads to the battery pack and the controller. The controller is a slip type knob that gradually increases in intensity. The two batteries are enclosed in the bottom section of the pack and snaps close. The pearls are a row of seven beads, all the same size and held together by some sort of flimsy cord. The beads touch each other so the cord is not seen. The noise level is rather loud considering the lack of intensity in the vibrations.

This toy is not waterproof and should not be submerged in water. Although the battery pack is not directly attached to the beads, there is a wire cord adjoining them. The pack holding the batteries are not sealed and water would enter the compartment. The beads and handle are not waterproof either.

The handle seems to have the most power of any part of the toy. The beads have only a faint vibration felt, even at the highest setting. After putting a condom over the beads, there is no vibration felt. The beads are also flimsy and very bendable. This makes insertion very difficult. The beads are all the same size, not allowing for a gradual increase in size. Also, the beads do not seem very secure on the cord holding them and the tip is a rubbery looking piece that looks like it could come loose and the beads would be loose. The handle is wide enough that the beads should not “get lost” or accidentally slip inside but it does not have a flared end.

The toy is designed for solo or partner play but does not seem to work well with either. When using it solo, it was difficult to get the beads inserted and once they were inserted, there were no vibrations felt. When used with a partner, the same problem of insertion occurred. The size of the beads are small, about 3/4” so the size would be suited for anyone. The insertable length is 4 3/4”. However, the difficult of insertion and the lack of vibrations make it hard for me to recommend it to anyone.

The beads arrived in a clear plastic container with only foreign language on the box. It has a picture of a girl and an ass on the front of the box but nothing else. It was fairly simple to figure out how the batteries went in and how to operate the toy so instructions were not necessary. I received the beads in a pretty shade of pink.

The beads are made of plastic and therefore water based, silicone, or oil-based lubes can be used. The toy can be cleaned with antibacterial soap and warm water or commercial toy cleaner. The row of beads is fairly easily cleaned but care should be given to clean them thoroughly where they come together.

After having such difficulty inserting the beads during a solo session, I had my hubby attempt to use them on me. I wanted to make sure that the problem was with the toy and not the user. He also found it difficult to get the beads inserted. I also tried the beads with and without a condom to see if the vibrations were stronger without the condom. The vibrations remained very weak and could not really be felt once they were inserted.

I can write this follow up review without needing to wait any longer. I have not used these beads and do not plan on using them again. I am afraid the strand of beads will break and the beads will be "lost". I was very disappointed with this product.
