Torpedo rocket - anal vibrator by Doc Johnson - review by Astraea

I got the Torpedo Rocket Butt Plug|Torpedo rocket - Butt plug by Doc Johnson - Anal Vibrators by Doc Johnson, and I have to say I am impressed. This is my first specifically anal toy, though I have used small vibrators|Mini vibrators and discreet sex toys there before. The color is really very pretty (I’m partial to aquamarine, being my birth stone color). The texture is also very nice; a smooth, velour-like plastic that is surprisingly flexible. As I said with the Waterproof Pocket Exotics Egg|Waterproof pocket exotics egg, I have fallen in love with remote-controlled toys. This one had surprisingly strong vibrations also. These were focused in the top part of the toy (the suction cup as the base or bottom). I rate the vrooms of this toy at about a four since I have had stronger toys, but this is still up there with power. Another very nice aspect of this toy is how quiet it is. I rate it at just one bee.

The toy was longer than I expected but not too long at all. The tip is tapered to a soft point to allow for easy insertion, and about three to four inches down, it has an area with smaller circumference to keep the plug in place. But that’s not all. It gets a little wider again as you continue downward to another thin area right before the plug. So this gives you options on how deep you want to keep the plug.

As I am very inexperienced with anal play, I think this toy was a little too big in circumference for my liking but could be very enjoyable for someone who is more accustomed to using anal toys|Anal vibrators.

This was my first suction cup equipped toy, and I find that I enjoy this unusual detail almost as much as I enjoy the fact that it has a remote. It just makes me wish I had more smooth surfaces in my room.

Overall, I give this toy a rating of four stars.

Regarding the comment to my original review: I am still such a beginner with anal play that I have trouble getting this toy in and keeping it in, so I have not had any problems with it slipping inside. I would recommend this toy for those who may have a little more experience however. Also, after several months of semi-regular use, I have discovered a couple of other minor issues. First, the suction cup base is not nearly strong enough. Even on the smoothest surfaces, it would slide and then release completely, thereby defeating the purpose in my opinion. Second, there is a small hole where the cord connects to the vibrator within the toy where moisture and fluids can enter. I have had problems with this already. Other than those two minor issues, this is a wonderful toy, though I have to confess that I prefer to use it vaginally rather than anally.
