The Hand Paddle by Eden toys is just that. A "spanker" that has the fun look of a hand for all of your paddling needs! Personally, I love this paddle. It serves the purpose it was made for wonderfully, and it certainly will not disappoint you. Whether you are a 'newbie' or an expert, you can' definitely find some pleasure in using this paddle.

This lovely little paddle is made of leather and metal. The hand itself appears to be leather with red stitching, with a metal rod for a handle. It is 13 and a 1/2 inches in length, with a width of 3 and 1/2 inches. Despite the metal on the paddle, this weighs in at about 1/2 a pound. As mentioned, the paddle portion of this toy is made of leather, with a 7 rating on the material safety scale. This motions that the leather and metal are safer materials.

I believe that this paddle will last a long time, as it has been well designed. The paddle portion is a good stiff leather/metal combination, making it stiff and great for paddling. As far as smell is concerned, you will find none with the Hand Paddle.

Being that it is most certainly a paddle, you will not want to leave it out lying about for family or friends to find.

I used this paddle on a playmate about a week after I got it. It worked very well for the paddling, and it did not bend or move out of shape, which was really my only concern. You can spank light, medium, and heavy. You will find that this paddle will maintain it's shape and form with no bending. A great toy for everyone!

When cleaning this, you will want to use a leather safe material, not just soap and water. If you use soap and water, it may cause the quality of the leather to degrade over time, despite the sturdiness of the paddle. I suggest a saddle soap, or a good mink oil if you have used any sort of toy cleaner on it.

As with all Eden toys at this point in time, it has no fancy wrapping. It is a simple clear wrapping that covers the entirety of the toy.

Overall, I would recommend this paddle to anyone. I had a fantastic experience with it, and I believe more then just the beginning users would love to have this paddle in their collection.
