First Impression:
My first impression of the paddle was it was very unique. It has one side that was red and padded, while the other side was black and more firm leather. The thought that crossed my mind was one side a lot more force could be used, and on the other would require a little less unless you intentionally like leaving marks with less force than the padded side.

First use: The first experience with the paddle was trying out the different sides, which were an enjoyable experience for me. He popped me on each side so allow me to feel the difference. It was a thrill of anticipation of what side I was going to feel next. My partner liked the padded side because he could slap harder without worrying about causing significant pain or hurting me. It was also enjoyable for me since the noise was a lot louder, which made my senses go into overdrive. So even though it was a padded side, it felt amazing for me. He also enjoyed popping me with the non-padded side since a light tap would still sting.

Design:

The design was a unique double-sided design. One side is heavily padded that isn't particularly made for marks. The leather side, however, will make marks more effortlessly. The more padded side could be used for longer BDSM sessions, whereas the leather side wouldn't be unless someone is heavily masochistic. I personally also like the attachment that allows for hanging. My partner enjoyed how the handle felt, and he also enjoyed the wrist strap for support.

The paddle is made from leather and rates 7 out of 10 on the Eden Fantasy safety scale. The handle is stiff, so it's not flimsy to the touch. Leather is up on the higher end of the BDSM spectrum since its mostly everyone's preferred material for spanking or for restraints. Leather is also one product if you take care of it, it will last.

The various things that this can be incorporated with this product can range from restraints, sensory deprivation, soft and rough. Example: You can have a feather run down your partner's body then pop them with a paddle when they are least expecting it. You can add a blindfold and add more suspense to it.

Here are some ways to use this product:

1. Solo:

For even better results, it's best to use mild unscented soap, since leather can soak up any unwanted scents that get on the surface. If your leather looks like it's getting moldy or getting an unwanted film on it, leave it out in the sun for a day and try to wipe it down the best you can with a cloth.

If you're using soap and water on this, it's best to sun-dry the paddle, as it will dry it faster and prevent any unwanted mildew forming. If your paddle looks dry or feels unusual in your hand, you could wipe it down with a leather conditioner. These can be found in shoe stores, leather shops, and online stores usually. Follow the directions on the leather conditioner bottle if you're using this, and your leather should start looking as good as new in no time at all. Do NOT submerge this leather paddle set in water. The water will soak through and create places for harboring bacteria and mold.

This paddle arrived in a see-through plastic bag. Upon taking the product out of the packing, it was apparent what it was. It was not discreet at all. There weren't any instructions on how to take care or use this product. Thankfully, it was easy to figure out. You can recycle the bag and box if you would like. However, I would keep the box to store it in.
If you are gifting this product to someone who gets easily embarrassed, you might want to do it privately. It does not hide the fact it's a paddle very well.
