Bzzzzzz....THWUMP....oooooh....Bzzzzz

Not really a whip, more of a flogger. This silicone/rubber whip would be a good addition to an Alt. girl collection. Pink and Black, pokey, and vibraty...alt.sex.fun.

Use

Hmmm…what is the best use of a flogger…I’d have to say “flogging”. I know the name of this product is “whip”…but it’s not a whip. It’s a flogger. The 14” black and pink rubber lashes can do both thump and sting depending on the hit.

The Angel whip might be a bit too much for people who don’t get into the pleasure/pain area that often. It doesn’t take that much force to leave marks and a full on hit could be VERY painful and probably leave welts/cuts…for good or for ill.

Design / Craftsmanship / Size / Material / Features

Joanna Angel, alt porn star and creator of the Burning Angel website, designed this vibrating flogger for Topco. On one end you have the 14" rubber strips. On the other end you have the vibrations and the tingly pokers. The handle is plastic covered in silicone tingly pokers (sorry, only way I can describe them). I'm not sure exactly how this product is waterproof, but it is. I didn't see any rubber "o" rings that block out the water from the battery compartment, but after washing it still worked. The grip of the handle is where the batteries go, just above that is the knob that controls the vibrations (off to full). The Silicone & Rubber Whip Vibe is also phthalates-free.

Performance

As a flogger, this worked out pretty well. It doesn't take a lot of effort or force to go from thud to sting with this. An interesting sensation with this flogger is when you strike with it and than go over the area with the pokey tingles of the handle.

I found the idea of inserting this toy sadistically funny. The "insertable" part is about as pokey as toothbrush. So, if you're curious about how this would generally feel, next time you're in the bathroom, take your toothbrush for a spin around your soft bits.

Care and Maintenance

Since only the outside is silicone, no boiling. Wash soap/water or toy cleaner. NO silicone lube (unless you like wasting money). The silicone on this toy isn't medical grade (that I could tell), so a silicone lube could damage it. We used Silk and had no problems.

The pokey nubs on the outside make cleaning interesting, since they act like a loofah to some degree.

Packaging

I liked the packaging for this.

The handle comes in a clamshell-like package (but far easier to open) with a fold out insert that talks about the product and company, even product registration!

The straps/fronds/things you smack with come wrapped up in a poly-bag. They are still attached to the handle, but the design is for them to hang free outside of the package to feel.

Personal comments

The twist operation to turn the vibrating on/off is pretty easy to adjust if you don't want to. The vibrations are also at the base of the handle, almost exclusively so.

Experience

I liked the dragging of the straps and the occasional strike to the full on whap. That's just personal preference though.
Follow-up commentary
I still like this, but NEVER use it. I guess I'm just too vanilla for it.

It's held up pretty well after a couple moves and storage. It still powers on/off.

If you're into Alt. you'd probably enjoy and use this more than I do.

Your review makes me more intrigued than afraid, but there's still some fear in there. Very nice, makes me curious to try out. I even went to check the price. Looks like it's not available right now Sad face

When I was doing my research online for this review, I did find some prices. I also found out that this review was the most in depth one of the two reviews out there for this product.

thanks for checking out my review!

Great review. I normally don't read reviews for floggers, but your title caught my attention. Maybe you're familiar with the Easy Star All-Stars' remake of Pink Floyd's Money (with the bong sounds and coughing in the intro), but maybe there should be another remake with moaning, whipping, and vibing noises Tongue out
