Double heart slap-her - paddle by Ruff doggie styles - review by Kallisto

The Double Heart Slap-Her|Double heart slap-her paddle is my second leather spanking toy from Ruff Doggie Styles, the first being the Rainbow Nights Paddle|Rainbow nights paddle I reviewed previously.  Made entirely of leather, the Slap-Her is well constructed and attractive, with a split construction that makes the paddle very flexible and ‘slappy’, hence the name.

Hand made in India, the paddle sports outer layers of black leather, each firmly sewn to an inner layer of pink suede that peeks through 12 cute little heart-shaped cutouts.  Pink stitching around the borders offers a feminine touch and holds everything together while complimenting the pink suede of the interior.  A nylon wrist or hanging string is the finishing touch.  The Slap-Her is well-made and should last for a lifetime of happy use.

At just over 13 inches long, the Slap-Her is very light and maneuverable.  The thickness is about 3/8" at the handle end and a little over 1/4" thick at the business end, with a nicely tapered handle that fits comfortably into the average-sized hand.

Because the paddle is split into two halves, it is very flexible and ‘whippy’ in the hand, somewhat like a leather belt and offering similar spanking sensations.  The advantage of the Slap-Her over a belt, in my opinion, is that the paddle is much easier to use since it’s easier to hold in the hand due to the nicely shaped grip which fits the average hand well.  Similar to a belt, it’s easy to generate a nice sharp crack with this paddle, as the flexibility allows the blade to wrap around and strike a larger impact area.

My husband was able to redden me up quite nicely in just a few minutes and warm me up nicely!  I had hoped that the cute little heart cutouts would leave sassy little heart shaped marks or bruises behind, but that proved not to be the case.

The product description says that the split construction offers powerful double-action.  I cannot say that I noticed this effect when the paddle was put to use; the real advantage of the split construction is the additional flexibility it provides.  “Double-action” or not, it is definitely a good time to be on the business end of this paddle!

If I could change anything about this paddle, I would make it a little bit longer and wider, but that is just my preference; the paddle is certainly big enough as it is to produce the desired effect with little effort.

I heartily recommend this leather paddle to any spanko who would like to add a finely-crafted leather, whippy spanking implement to their arsenal.  You can’t really go wrong with its simple, attractive construction.

I've been using this product regularly for over 3 years, and I still love it! So far it has held up well.
