You are likely wondering about the title of this review, thinking to yourself, "What? This isn't a homemade toy! It's made by Spartacus, and they make fantastic stuff!" I know, right? So imagine my disappointment when I took this adorable pink leather out of the bubble, plastic shell and started to inspect it. Maybe I'm too hard on floggers. Maybe I'm a flogger snob. All I know is that for the quality, I'd save up for a better flogger.

At 20 inches long, this flogger is fairly well balanced. It has tails about 13 inches long and a handle that is about 7 inches long. It weighs half a pound, which is really light for most floggers. The first thing that put me off is that the tails were frayed - a good flogger should come to you fairly crisp. I flipped the flogger over and pulled aside the tails to inspect how it had been put together. I was very dismayed to see the end of a rough, sawed dowel that had been stained reddish pink. This toy looks cheap because it was made cheaply, and you can feel the difference.

The first time my Owner flogged my thighs, one of the tails tore a bit at the top, and the ends were frayed almost to the point of not being worth using it. By the end of our play session, that nice, little, braided knot at the top was becoming unglued from the heat of his hand.

I hate writing an unpleasant review, especially about BDSM gear, especially about pink stuff, and especially about Spartacus products. I put off writing this review for almost a year until I had to write the heartbreaking truth. This toy is, if you are at all serious about BDSM, not worth buying. Pink pebbled leather is lovely, but so is having a toy that stays together and wasn't made using cheap materials.

You deserve better than that in your sexcapades.
