Mmmmm....let me begin by saying that I am so happy that I found Eden. I have had lots of secret desires to try a lot of different things and just haven't had the ability to do so until now. My boyfriend and I enjoy spanking, him giving and me receiving. We had not tried any kind of whip or paddle until just recently, so this was my first one. I read the review that was posted on it and was intrigued to try it.

The Patent Paddle is made of leather with a nylon wrist strap for more control. It is 13" long and in the widest part it is 3 3/4" wide. There is wood in the handle, but the paddle itself is just leather so it seems a little flimsy at first. That turns out not to be a bad thing for me. As we are beginners at this. I am not ready for something that is going to scare me and this delivers just the right amount of sting to provide a lot of pleasure.

The first slap to my ass caused me to gasp in surprise. The second one made me gasp with delight. I really don't know who enjoyed it more, me or him. I guess that doesn't really matter because we had one incredible sex session following using the paddle.

I will definately invest in a few more, but this one will be my first and favorite. We (me and the paddle) now have an emotional tie. I was really kind of sad when I had to put it up.

I just wiped it down with a warm rag and dried it completely before storing it. I would suggest using something else to wipe it with if you are going to share it though. Maybe a toy cleanser.
