Paddle cheetah fur review

These toys seem marketed for novice kinksters who are just trying out percussion toys for the first time and may not have anything quality to compare them to. The delicate design is not firm enough to bestow anything but a lazy flap, and because of this it is also not very accurate. It kind-of flip-flops around and once bent is not flexible enough to bend back into its original shape.

I traded a nice flogger I had for this paddle when I was first honing my Domme skills and building up my toy kit. It was my first paddle, but turned out to be a cheap disappointment. It is constructed of what feels like flimsy cardboard on the interior spine with faux fur on one side and vinyl on the other. The delicate design is not firm enough to bestow anything but a lazy flap, and because of this it is also not very accurate. It kind-of flip-flops around and once bent is not flexible enough to bend back into its original shape.

The vinyl side is a bit stingy, and the Cheetah print side feels nice if rubbed over the skin, but other than that it is not a high-quality paddle designed to deliver an impact. In fact, the whole thing is cheaply made and mine broke the first time I used it, when it got “all bent outta shape”. Seriously.

The reason I traded it is because of the animal print that I thought was attractive, and I mistakenly believed the vinyl side was leather. If properly constructed it may have been a nice paddle. Unfortunately, I find much of what Sportsheets makes in the line of percussion toys are inferior quality, manufactured of substandard materials that are more eye candy than functional. These toys seem marketed for novice kinksters who are just trying out percussion toys for the first time and may not have anything quality to compare them to. Mind you, these toys are cheap and investing in a bdsm toy|BDSM toys - Bondage & Fetish can be expensive, especially if you buy hand-crafted leather toys like I try to do. But, if you are thinking of buying this I would recommend something more sturdy and made of leather or rubber (for vegan kinksters). I wish I hadn’t traded my nice flogger now and feel a bit cheated. But, at least I now know the difference, so live and learn. And, hopefully readers can gain something useful from my error in judgement.

Maybe it's meant to be for show than anything else. I have several products I use just for photo opportunities. :)

Yes, that's exactly it. It is just pretty, not practical.
