I was a little skeptical about a whip from an online sex toy site. Most times BDSM gear|BDSM Gear - BDSM Toys from non BDSM oriented sites tend to be lower quality.

Absolutely not so with this little jewel. I was more than pleasantly surprised. The whip is fairly supple right out of the box. The colors are gorgeous, the braiding quite nice.

My partner did work with it a few days before attempting to use it on my soft flesh. According to him it throws nicely, surprisingly so. It's a little bit handle heavy but otherwise well worth the money in just about every way.

Those of a kinkier bent will surely enjoy the way it snaps and cracks and lands where you want it to with relative ease. Those just experimenting may, however, want to look at a milder toy. This whip (serpent's tongue whip|Ruff doggie styles serpent's tongue whip) is definitely not for the faint at heart.

This is a whip and it stings, snaps, bites and plain old hurts just like you'd expect a whip to. Wonderful for the masochists out there, not so much if you're just curious and expecting wee amounts of pain. This baby delivers a LOT of it.

The inexperienced could easily break skin and do far more damage than they intend to with it. The experienced will find it a nice addition to their toy boxes for an amazing price.

We've had quite a bit of fun with this thing. My partner is a hell of a sadist and has taken to chasing me thru the house with it, cackling gleefully as I squeal and jump, red and fiery welts raising across my bum. We've yet to have a full on "session" with it as we don't have the room at home but intend to take it to a play party in our area at the end of the month and I'll surely do a follow up review then.

Until then, suffice to say, we're both enjoying it a lot and will highly, higly recommend it!

I got a "not useful at all" vote on this review so I thought I'd add a bit.

The whip has a serpent's tongue "popper" at the end. This is the two little tongues you see. These can draw blood if you're hitting with force so I should probably mention that this is not the greatest toy for sharing due to leather being hard to sanitize. Also, the popper is attached to a fairly substantial braided loop - which hurts like the dickens if you hit with that instead of the popper. Good aim is pretty important since hitting with a lot of force in a tender area and having the braided loop contact skin instead of the popper can do some damage.

We're still quite pleased with this item. It's not used overly often as we have quite a selection to choose from but both my partner and I enjoy it when we do use it.

One thing about leather whips. With use - if they're well made - they just get better. More supple, more easy to control. One of few toys that actually get better with age!
