Simple n' Clean

The Silicone Paddle is a very simple, perfect beginner's impact play toy. It arrived along with a bunch of others in a plastic baggie as shown below. I've set it next to my beloved Rubik's Cube so that you can get an idea of its size.




This was my first impact play toy. I love that it's got a simple design, the size's great, and it's easy to pack in a suitcase. Takes almost no space in a bag. The fact that it's made of silicone is a plus too. I was a bit concerned that the silicone itself was too hard, but I suppose the dom side of me is a bit of a softie. There's a bit of a silicone scent to the paddle, but it goes away quickly. The small diamond imprints are a cute addition, but I haven't figured out how to actually make those appear on their own versus just making the entire area of where the paddle hits pink.

I worried that since it was my first time paddling, I'd miss my mark. But it's much easier than I thought, and the worries were... entirely needless. My partner quickly descended into subspace, and for the first time in my life, the reactions I was blessed with might've tugged me quite far into domspace. Needless to say, we both enjoyed it. My partner was constantly getting really good head rushes from it. The pain is described as a cold-hot flash that quickly fades. The paddle leaves marks without lingering pain. I really like that there's a loop at the end of the handle because I can just hook it over my pinky finger, allow it to swing it left and right before my partner's eyes, and it seems to really but them on edge.

The first time, my partner's behind was still pink-ish the next morning, but I was told it was painless. We went further the next time, and he ended up with so many bruises on his rear. This time, it took days for them to disappear, but I was assured multiple times that there was no pain when it came to sitting/moving about/proceeding with daily life. I do hope that was true.

Additionally, the fact that the paddle is rather firm allows me to trace patterns with its rounded edges over the marks I've made. Watching goosebumps follow it is... quite fun. My partner also learned the sound the paddle makes before impact. I love the flinches it elicits when I swing but do not touch skin. Pressing the paddle against freshly-made marks soothes the sub as the silicone is cool, and they lean into the touch in a way that is quite precious.
