There are few activities I enjoy more than giving my ample-assed lover a sound spanking. We both enjoy my alternating the intensity of my spanks and using different tools|Spanking and Flogging—like floggers, paddles, and crops—to create different sensations. I have used another, smaller paddle without holes, and I must say I prefer this one to it.

The holes in the paddle serve a dual function. On the one hand, they decrease air resistance which helps make the spanker’s job easier and more pleasant—a vigorous spanking can definitely get your blood pumping and your heart-rate up, but with this paddle, there’s less muscle fatigue. On the other hand, the holes also enable the spanker to leave circular red spots and bruises. Note that bruising doesn’t happen accidentally with this paddle; you have to hit it like you mean to leave a lasting mark.

The handle is not the most comfortable type of handle in existence, but it is pretty comfy and well-suited to the mechanics of spanking with a paddle. In other words, I can see how it would be comfortable enough for people with smaller and larger hands than mine, but it’s not a padded leather round handle.

Perhaps the nicest feature of the Round "O" spank-her|Round "O" spank-her is the fact that it’s two-sided. The paddle is made out of thin, light wood or particle board, painted black, and covered with soft, brown suede on one side and smooth, black leather on the other side. The softer suede side is idea for your first strokes; it’s good to hit lightly at the beginning, to warm up the area, making it flushed and ready to endure and enjoy stronger sensations. The smooth black leather side definitely delivers more a sting. Of course, once you’ve warmed up your subject, alternating sides is a must.

It seems like a fairly high-quality toy that will last a good number of years with regular use, if not a lifetime with lighter use. It's of good quality, but not really a luxury item. Anybody who's into very violent spankings will want something harder, thicker, and bigger. The proclaimed “wrist strap” is too small to fit around the wrist of any adult I know, but the ready-made hole will facilitate your switching it for a longer cord. The loudness of the slaps depends on how hard you smack and which side you use--the smooth leather is louder.
