Trojan shared pleasure warm - male condom discontinued by Church and Dwight - review by ~LaUr3n~

When I first started collecting condoms I tried to get all sorts of different types, sizes, colors, and shapes. This particular condom by Trojan has been out since at least 2004 and I feel much different about them now than I did then. I loved warming when I was younger. I ended up buying these again later on because they always seemed to be on sale. My theory is that it is because the closer these get to their expiration, the less noticeable the warming is. They don't keep very well, but are nice if you use them quickly after buying them and are slightly larger than the average condom.

Compared to average condoms:

Average condoms have a thickness of 0.0027". The Shared Pleasure condom is the same thickness but will add back to the intimacy lost with the warming sensation. This simulates a more close experience by feeling more natural. Or at least that is the idea...

The average condom is 7.5" long. The Shared Pleasure is a bit longer at 7.87" long. This difference may not seem large, but an increase in this length can add a lot of comfort to the larger than average length guy. There is a small reservoir tip end that only catches a small amount of semen. Because of this I don't recommend this condom for guys larger than 7.4" in length.

Average condom head width is 2.125". This one has a width of 2.05" which isn't great for the guys with larger heads. This reduces friction and male pleasure...ultimately female pleasure as well. Because guys with longer length usually have somewhat of larger heads, they will probably feel restricted in this condom.

Average shaft and base width is 2". This one is a tiny bit wider, but the difference will likely go unnoticed if you wear average sized condoms. Because the base is not smaller than the shaft, it is of concern for smaller than average guys in width but not for the thicker ones. It will help larger guys by not slipping as much.

The lubricant is a water base and doesn't cover the latex smell of the condom. If the condom is used within about 3 months of purchase the warming lubricant is nice because it isn't too strong. The longer you wait the less smooth the lubricant becomes and the less you can feel the sensations.

The packages are very bright orange and so are the wrappers. They are larger than Durex wrappers and are also of the paper covered tin type instead of plastic. This makes them less easy to rip when separating from the chain. This condom rolls easily and never broke on us or my previous partner.

I enjoyed the light warming as long as I could feel it. But these condoms don't get used often by us and I have noticed that don't well anywhere near their expiration date. We won't be buying them again. One box was enough to figure out that they are not a good fit for my current partner. My partner felt the sensations less than I but didn't have any complaints by the added warmth. His complaints laid with the thickness and width of the condom. The length was great however. I recommend these to people who prefer warming and mostly choose that type of condom. They are best for the lengthy, but not the thick.

These simply don't keep long enough to make them worth buying even at the low price I usually find them for. I don't use warming condoms often so these get wasted because of their shelf time. If you like warming condoms and don't want to pay more for them, I recommend these for sure.
