Lifestyles has made a name for themselves as being as reliable as the larger names like Durex and Trojan all while being cheaper in general. Some of their condoms have been really awesome, some are less exciting. For us, these weren't really any different than any other condom and while something we'll use again, weren't something we'll actively seek out.

These condoms are average in just about every aspect, coming in at 7.5" long, .0027" thick, and 2" along the base and the shaft. Where they are different from the average condom is with the extra head room, coming in at 2.25" rather than the average 2.125". Larger guys will probably find these to be a little on the uncomfortable side, but if you can wear a "regular" condom then you'll be fine with these.

In theory, the larger head design here is supposed to allow more room for the head of the penis and also create a pleasurable friction for the guy. The girl is supposed to get some extra pleasure from some raised ribs along the shaft, but unless you've got a very sensitive vagina you're probably not going to notice them.

These condoms are made of latex, and there's definitely a scent involved. It's not as heavy as some condoms I've experienced, but I was able to smell it while we were having sex. The only difference between these and some of the other strongly scented condoms I've found is that these didn't leave either of us reeking like latex afterwards.

The lube on these condoms is water based and really nothing spectacular. There was enough for me, but a few times I've felt the need to add more lube. You should also make sure to add more lube if you start to feel uncomfortable, too much friction can cause breakage. Any water or silicone based lube will be fine, oil based can also lead to breakage since the oil can break down the latex.

These and all other condoms should be kept in a cool dry place when not being pulled out for your lovin'. That means not your glove box, not the center console, and not the wallet you sit on all day long. Purses can be dangerous places for condom wrappers too.

These condoms have also held up to everything we've put them through. We've had a few condoms from Lifestyles break right at the base after we were done and tying it off before, but these have never done that.

I had heard some good things about these condoms so I was looking forward to trying them with my husband. Unfortunately, they really weren't anything special, at all. He couldn't tell a difference between these and condoms with an average size head so that defeated the purpose of the extra head room and any friction he might have gotten from that. I had no idea there were ribs on the shaft until I was reading up on the condoms, I couldn't feel them at all. I could tell that the condom felt a little looser in the head area, but it wasn't really a good thing. It wasn't terribly distracting, but if I paid attention I could tell. All in all if this condom is the first one that comes out when we reach for one we won't put it back, but neither of us are going to go out of our way to make sure this is the one that comes out.

Eden doesn't appear to be carrying these anymore and they're apparently harder to find at physical stores, but they are still available from several online condom retailers, so if you want to try them, go for it. Maybe they'll work better for you than us.
