Formaldehyde anyone?

If you are allergic to latex, this is the option for you in terms of cheap contraceptives. It is effective against pregnancy but not STDs. It has a natural feel, but smells horrible! It is high quality though and the top of its class.

extremely useful review
Trojan has many different types and styles of condoms. One of the varieties is a non-latex natural condom called natural lamb. Trojan is the only company to produce a condom of this type. This condom is an alternative to traditional condoms for those who have latex allergies. It is a bit pricey, but for many it is the only contraceptive option.

First off, I'll explain exactly what this condom it. Natural feel condoms are actually made from the intestine of lambs. This kind of condom dates back to ancient times. Because of the animal parts, this condom feels closest to natural. The trade off is that this type of condom doesn't protect against STD's although it does prevent pregnancy.

I ended up with a sample of one of these by a freak accident caused by boredom. You can go on the Trojan site and request a free sample...which I did. The condom came in a very nice looking wrapper. It was shiny and sleek. I had heard that these condoms feel much more natural, so I was very excited to see what all the fuss was about.

I opened the wrapper and...oh my god! I wanted to puke on the spot! The condom smelled like formaldehyde death! I knew that the condom was made of animal intestine, but I figured they would have a figured out a way to cover the horrible smell...apparently not. I honestly could never get past this horrible smell in order to use the condom. I did inspect it though. It felt amazingly smooth between my fingers and had a strange base to it. It kind of looked like a tie for meat at a butcher...which of course suited.

This condom does not feature a reservoir tip since it is made from natural animal parts which is a downside. If you are too large for this condom, this could become a hazard. If you are on the large side or you happen to produce a large amount of seminal fluid at climax, make sure to check that the condom isn't leaking over the top.

Compared to other condoms, this is how the Natural Lamb stacks up: Average condoms have a thickness of 0.0027". This condom has a thickness of 0.003" which is slightly thicker than the synthetic condoms. The natural material makes up for this different in feel.

The average condom is 7.5" long. This condom is actually longer and is 7.87". Because this condom is not latex, it also doesn't stretch like latex. This condom cannot be forced to accommodate you. I do not recommend using this condom if you are over 7" in length.

Average shaft width and base width for condoms is 2". This condom is much larger at 2.8". Average condom head width is 2.125". This condom has a head width of 2.8". Snug fit isn't probable with this condom. It lacks taper and grip.

The lubrication is natural. You will need to add your own. If you have a fragrant one that would help get rid of the smell hopeful. Make sure to add more if you are not naturally lubricated enough!

I am giving this condom 3 stars because of the lack of taper and fit, as well as the horrible smell.
Follow-up commentary
I don't even plan to use this condom again, and hope that I never acquire an allergy to latex! Hopefully if that ever happens, there will be a more pleasant alternative.

Oh man, this sounds (and apparently smells) SO unsexy. Glad I don't have to worry about latex allergies, STDs or getting pregnant in my current relationship.

Love the review for these. I could never pick out what they smelled like. I had enjoyed how they were though! I had found them a little expensive.
