Vivid studded - male condom discontinued by Ansell - review by Lynx Lady

I picked up a three pack of these almost a year ago. I got a few other types to try for a weekend vacation and ended up only using one of these with my partner.

When we used a Vivid Studded together it felt no different from a regular condom. I couldn't detect the studs even slightly and my lover did not feel them at all either. I didn't really care at the time, I was far more interested in things going on other than the tiny bumps on the condom and if I could feel them or not. It served the intended purpose without getting in the way, but the extra feeling it was supposed to provide simply was not there for us.

After the vacation I decided to give the condoms a second chance on my own, placing one over a mostly smooth toy. This time I felt the studs. A little bit. They slipped around on the surface of the toy too much to provide any real stimulation on their own, but once again they didn't hamper the toy itself from doing what it was intended to do. I was not impressed with what feeling I got from the studs.

I wouldn't say these condoms are altogether useless, but I don't feel them to be worth picking over anything else. If you are a stud fanatic there are other things to try. I don't feel that these are worth the extra money or effort for no effect. Maybe if you happen to be really sensitive you'll be able to feel the studs, but I am fairly sensitive and I forgot they were there until I removed the condom afterwards when I used them with my lover. I recommend trying Rough Rider studded, I've heard good things about them from others but haven't had a chance to try them myself yet.
