Safe sex kit - condom kit discontinued by Pipedream - review by ~LaUr3n~

INTRO/USE:

This kit is great for a spiced up night with a long term partner, or a hot one night stand. Whatever the case may be it includes everything you need for a one time rendezvous and some of the items you will even be able to use again. This is a great price for all three items included:

1. Erotica Ribbed and Lubricated Latex Condom

2. Pink Jelly Cock Ring

3. .34 fluid ounces of Flavored Lube

CONDOM:

This condom by Erotica is a rare find. I couldn't find the actual dimensions of it online but it isn't for large men, they are rather short and narrow. The ribbing is average and the lubricant isn't the greatest. the latex smell is low and the reservoir tip is average also.

The thing that I appreciate about this condom is that the straight shape works well for a toy, since there was no way it was going to fit my guy, I opted for putting it on a toy instead. I also like their packaging. By making the condom into an oval they decrease packaging waste in half!

COCK RING:

Material:

The pink cock ring is made of TPR silicone. TPR is made of a rubber base and silicone additive so it is still porous and shouldn't be shared. You can feel that it is firmer than most jelly materials and is stronger too. The ring actually smelled like strawberry, but I think that was transferred from the lubricant vial even though it had not been opened. The TPR is super stretchy

Fit/Performance:

The ring itself is actually pretty thick. It stands over 3/4" tall. The inside unstretchable diameter is 1/2" and stretches to a diameter of about 2.5". I would not recommend using this ring on a penis more than 5 1/4" in circumference which is pretty average. Because of the stretching, it is easy to put on and off. It didn't fit my guy comfortably though. He was too large and this cock ring was much smaller than others we have gotten in other kits.

The outside of the ring has nubs, but they don't add any stimulation since they likely won't go inside the female if on a penis. You could put it on your finger though. Even though this was too tight for my partners liking, it did function as a cock ring and made his erection even larger and last longer.

Care:

Only use a water based lube. Silicone based will deteriorate the rings. Clean the ring before and after use. Use mild soap and warm water. Do not attempt to boil. Store in a dry and cool place. Touching other toys will cause it to melt.

LUBRICANT:

The Moist Tasty Lube smells and tastes amazing! It smells like a strawberry pastry! I wish it came in a container that could be closed again, because there is enough in the vial to use 3 or 4 times. It is water based and kind of runny. It didn't work the best as a thrusting lubricant, but it was awesome for after sex oral! It felt a bit sticky afterward so make sure to wash up when you are done. I didn't experience any irritation.

The thing that confuses me about this kit is that it says safe sex kit. The back has instruction on how to use all three items together. They say to put the condom over an erect penis and then place the cock ring at the base of the condom over the condom. In my experience and research this is a no no with TPR and jelly cock rings. The friction can cause the condom to break! So...as a safe sex kit, this is only safe if you don't follow the instructions. Also, the condom I received was expired, which is another reason I didn't use it for sex, but used it on a toy instead.

I bought this kit to try out because I thought it would be a good party gift for 2 upcoming weddings I have to plan bachelorette parties for. It gets the thumbs up from me! Great price and decent products all in one kit.

Not that I was ever super thrilled about this, but I have nothing worse to say about it now that the condom and lubricant is gone. The lubricant lasted four sessions. The cock ring remains and since it looks and feels a lot like my other ones, it will probably last about a year before it has to be tossed. It was also used four times, maybe more, and has not broken. The material has not yet clouded...but it is only a matter of time. This is a great set for beginners, a gag gift, or for travel.
