Lifestyles sheer pleasure 12 pack - male condom discontinued by Ansell - review by ~LaUr3n~

Lifestyles is a great condom brand. If you have read my other reviews of the Lifestyles brand you already know that I sometimes argue that they are better than Durex and Trojan condoms. This is due to pricing and shape among other things. The Sheer Pleasure condom is a great choice manufactured by Lifestyles and is best for average girthed men but larger than average in length. The shape is natural, the smell is low and the condom is thinner than most making it more natural feeling. The price is great also. The only down side is that these are hard to find!

Compared to other condoms:

Average condoms have a thickness of 0.0027". This condom is about a third less of the thickness of the average condom and is only .0019" thick. These condoms feel great during sex because you can feel the details of your partner. I like them especially because I can feel my partners head a lot better. The thinner material allows for less constriction also.

The average condom is 7.5" long. These are a good amount longer at 7.75" making these better for larger guys. Because of the snugger fitted base, I can also recommend these condoms for members 7.5" and shorter. The reservoir tip is larger than most which is a trademark of Lifestyles condoms. They allow for two-three teaspoons of semen.

Average condom head width is 2.125". This condom has extra room and is 2.25" wide. So not only are these longer, but they are also wider, making them even better for larger guys. The extra room reduces restriction on the nerve packed head of the penis increasing sensitivity. The head room isn't too considerable that this would feel baggy even if you have a large head. You would still notice extra friction.

Average shaft width is 2"; the Sheer Pleasure is the same at 2". Unfortunately this doesn't give extra room for the guys with extra girth along with the extra head room and length. So this condom is quite unique. It is for the longer guys who are average in length. In my experience, it is rare for a guy to be gifted in both areas.

Average base width is 2" which isn't the best design. This condom has picked up on that and has 1.75" in width. This makes the bottom of the condom more secure around the base and prevents slippage and semen seepage if you overflow the reservoir tip and continue thrusting.

The water based lubrication is better than most and is noticeably silky. Still, make sure to add more to reduce the chance of breakage due to dry friction. This condom still has a latex smell, but it isn't as bad as Durex or Trojan's average condoms. The color is also unique. They really are sheer and show the skin color underneath better than most.

The condoms come in plastic wrappers. Be careful when pulling one from the chain. Hold both condoms firmly instead of quickly yanking. I have ripped into quite a few proceeding condoms this way effectively wasting them. Good luck finding these condoms! I very seldom find them anymore.

I have never had a Sheer Pleasure condom break. They are easy to use and roll on well. You should keep them out of direct sunlight in a cool area and never store them in your wallet. The friction can break the condom or cause imperfection and weakness in the latex. These condoms keep well to their expiration so you can buy them even if you don't have a steady partner. I am giving these condoms 5 stars because they fit a lot of guys, even the larger ones-the more common larger guys at that. The thinner material is great and is the reason my thicker guy still likes to use these. The head room makes it extra worth it also and the secure fit base makes us worry less.

This condom is becoming increasingly harder to find. I believe this is due to Lifestyles fazing out this condom to make room for their large line of new products. I cannot find this in any multi-pack either. If you liked this condom, I would recommend seeing if you like the new Thyn or the Extra Sensitive condom by Lifestyles also.
