Durex intense sensation studded - male condom discontinued by Durex - review by ~LaUr3n~

These were my favorite condom type for quite a few years! I really like the Durex brand of condoms, and this is by far their most amazing feeling condom from a woman's perspective. They rank pretty average by a guy's standards though. This is because they are not too much thinner than the average plain condom.

The Intense Sensation condom features a studded feature of hundreds of raised bumps/dots all over the condom's slick surface. With head width, surface width, and base width all at two inches they are not good for the larger than average guy. This goes both for thickness AND length. If you are longer than 7 inches and on the thicker side, these would not be comfortable. I wish Durex made a "magnum" version. The thickness is .0024 inches which is pretty average and doesn't give extra sensation to a male. They also don't have a contour shape. The aim of this condom seems to be for female pleasure only.

I have found that the reservoir tip of this condom is not large enough for the guy that finishes with more than two teaspoons of semen. They also have a strong latex smell which is the most unappealing feature of this condom. I have never had them break though which is comforting.

I am very tight and this may make me more sensitive to this type of product. I have always been able to feel textured condoms. This may not be felt by every woman however.

The lube that coats this condom is water based and feels great with silicone or water based lube. There is enough that extra is not usually needed however.

They are also a fun orange salmon color too. If you would like to just try this condom you can buy it in a three pack. This is harder to find than the standard pack but it can be bought at various locations.

I am with a partner who is too large for this condom type. I really wish they made them in a larger version :(. I still can enjoy using this condom on my toys, but it is just not the same.
