Wireless latex harness with slender penis - panty harness discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by White Fox

I've been interested in latex for a several years now, but only own one small article for myself. So I was excited to try out this latex harness with penis because it would finally let me get my partner to try out latex but give her something extra to feel it wasn't all about my side. I wish things had turned out a bit better, but I suppose it could've been worse.

It comes in a fairly standard cardboard adult toy box. The panty part is just wrapped around the dildo with a light dusting of powder and is inside a cheap plastic bag. Right away after opening it something smelled odd. It's not that there was an overpowering latex smell, in fact there wasn't much of one at all. No, the smell that hit us was an odd smell of oily popcorn. It wasn't disgusting but it really put us both off.

Aside from the smell, we found no instructions or advice on how to put it on or care for it. For those not experienced with latex clothing, you need to take some special care with it as well as use something to help ease it onto your body without it sticking to you or itself. Once she had it on, the thin sides and high cut shape don't lend well to staying in place. Unless you're pretty thin, it won't look like the model on the box, it has a tendency to roll up at the edges and bunch up.

The dildo itself wasn't too bad. It's basically a thick latex shell over a stiff foam core and it gets the job done. I didn't have any problems getting it into my ass but it needs quite a bit of lube if your partner wants to do all the thrusting. The bullet that came with it was quite powerful, though! It's just a cheap plastic thing but it has a lot of buzz and is much more quiet than our more expensive toys. I'm a bit more worried about the material safety of this above the standard latex cautions. Where the dildo mounts on the inside is a cloth "patch". I can't tell if there's a latex barrier between the patch and the foam but make sure you clean the toy well before you put it away.

Putting this toy on I recommend some silicone lube (water based tends to dry and get tacky, oil based is a no no for latex plus silicone gives you that nice shine) or cornstarch on the inside if you want it drier. Either of these are needed because dry latex is very sticky to itself and your body.

Newbies to latex will want to look up a few tips on how to wear, clean, store and maintain it. It's not as much of a chore as it sounds but without proper care, latex can degrade and get damaged easily and using it won't be nearly as fun. Silicone lube will give you that nice, shiny, wet look that you see everywhere. Cornstarch is great for dusting the inside if you don't want to get as messy with lube but you'll have to lube the outside if you don't want it cloudy. Also take care to clean it thoroughly and apply a dusting of cornstarch before putting it away. There are also plenty of specialty latex "shines" and cleaners out there.

We haven't wanted to touch this one since the original review. We just can't find a reason to pull it out. I doubt this one will come out of our "long-term" storage toy box for a while.
