I had a strap on dildo once before, and while it was all right for play, it never felt entirely secure to me. I was uncomfortable about the dildo slipping out of the harness. So, I was intrigued by the idea of this strap on having the 'powerlock' system. Sounds good on the website, but will it perform in play time?

Let me assure you, this toy performs magnificently! I was very impressed when it first arrived, seeing how the dildo clicked into the harness with a click you could both feel and hear made me immediately feel secure. There is a small firm square backing on the inside of the harness that has a button in it, and this is how you release the dildo when you are finished. It all appeared to be a sturdy and safe device.

The dildo that comes with this harness is very nice. It is quite real looking, nicely flexible without being floppy. I personally dislike dildos that are really floppy, they seem hard to control to me. Likewise, I don't really like very rigid ones, they aren't comfortable to use. This one is just right.

The powerlock harness itself is nice as well. It fit my ample hips nicely without cutting into me. The straps adjusted easily, and then stayed nice and tight during play. It allowed the dildo to be in a very normal position. Another problem I had with my old one was placement, but this just fit naturally onto me.

So, I used this one on my husband. While he found the diameter of this dildo to be a bit big for his comfort, he still had a wonderful experience. I had a fine time as well... the dildo hit my pleasure spot perfectly when I pushed into him, and I felt very confident when I pulled back that nothing was going to come loose. The single only problem we encountered was when we were finished, it was difficult to get the dildo to release from the harness, but really, you just have to really push on the release button hard. A bit difficult when the dildo has a lot of lube on it, but we got it loose. We have had this problem each time we used it, but it did come off with some effort.

It cleaned up nicely using antibacterial soap and warm water. Because this particular dildo is made of jelly material, you can't boil it for complete cleaning, so it really should be used with a condom or with only one partner. The harness is washable as well, but you do have to remove the little square dildo base. This is easy, as it just snaps off.

I am looking forward to getting another powerlock dildo or two that goes with this harness, for variety. I love this toy, and highly recommend it! It lets you feel in total control of the situation with none of the concerns that you might experience with other harnesses.

Over time, this strap-on has held up very well. The 'lock and load' feature doesn't seem to degrade or get loose with repeated use. If I have one over-all complaint, it is that condoms don't really stay on it well. That would require a thicker dildo, I think, which you can buy if you want.
