Vac-U-Lock Lucid dream No. 14 - dildo harness by Doc Johnson - review by jedent

Wow, I am sincerely impressed with the quality and style of this harness, and though I was not particularly pleased with the dildo it came with, I am glad to report that this harness is specially designed to work with a variety of dildos in Doc Johnson's Vac-U-Lock line.

So dildo aside, I love the harness because it is lightweight, adjustable up to 44 inches, and it is crotchless. Don't you just love things that are crotchless? I do. It looks stylish, and nothing like the other harness I have which looks as if it was made from Grandpa's leftover rainbow suspenders.

Because of the Vac-U-Lock feature, I think this harness would be a great purchase for a first time strap on user because not only does the harness itself rock, but looking at the brochure that came in the box, there are endless possibilities as far as dildos you can connect to this thing. This should be your go-to harness for sure.

The material of the harness, from what I can understand, is phthalates-free but I can't find anything on the packaging indicating what exactly it is. I believe the markings on the box saying PVC are referring to the dildo, so the phthalates-free must be for the harness.

Whatever it technically is, the harness's material can best be described as a sort of thin leather on the outside, and a very pleasing to the touch velvety felt on the inside. The base of the dildo which snaps onto the harness also has this material.

The dildo, which I assume is PVC, is smooth and sleek, and one of my new favorite materials. It's clear purple, and though the design looks like it will be a lot of fun, don't count on it not bending and flopping around (making it somewhat difficult to insert.).

The harness is made very well, though it is surprisingly thin. If you're not willing to go all out and buy a super, top-of-the-line, real leather, serious-business, harness, this is just the right fit for you. I love it because of the fact that the Vac-U-Lock system gives me more possibilities to enjoy this great harness even though I did not like the particular dildo it came with.

The way the Vac-U-Lock system works is the dildos specifically designed for this harness have a base that has snap buttons on it. This makes putting the dildo onto the harness quite simple and very fast with the least bit of fumbling.

The dildo itself is not very stable as it tapers down to a narrow point. However, it was difficult to insert it without it bending. The dildo shapes from its narrow point to a slightly hooked, thick head, and unfortunately the seam where the straight becomes a curve is quite visible and not as well pulled off as other dildos which have curves and no ugly seams like this.

Having a 40 inch waist, the harness fit me well with no slipping. It was easy to adjust, though one of the straps accidentally came loose when I held it open to put it on and it was somewhat difficult to put it back into the adjusting piece. Think backpack straps. That's how it adjusts.

The size of the dildo might have been fine in length, but the narrowing girth was useless and detracting. Furthermore, the tip did not quite shape correctly to do anything for my g-spot or my husband's prostate.

The harness was very comfortable and easy to use. It was easy to attach the dildo but it took some manpower to pull it off. Those little snaps work very well to keep the dildo in place during and after use! The difficult part was getting the dildo stable enough to insert, and so quite a bit of using both or sometimes three or four hands was involved on getting to put this thing to use.

My love to the PVC for its easy care and long lifespan! Anything I can just wash off with antibacterial soap is a friend of mine, and that's just how you care for PVC. On the insert that came with the harness set it clearly tells you to wipe the harness and attachment with mild dishwashing liquid and warm water, so I assume whatever material the harness is made from should be cared for in the same way as you would care for the dildo.

The packaging is very cute, very easy to open. The color scheme and box designs remind me a bit of a genie in a bottle or something, and it comes with a very informative little foldout instruction guide that is colorful and much like a comic strip. I wish that the packaging stated which item was PVC and which item was phthalates-free.

We intend to look for more Vac-U-Lock attachments to use with this harness. Dream Shape #14 sucked as far as what we usually liked, but looking at the clever guide inside advertising other attachments, there are a number of realistic looking ones and that might be more our style.

When my husband tried the harness on, he loved it. And just for the sake of experimentation he tried using the dildo on me using the harness, since he decided that by the look of it the dildo was probably designed for girls.

Well I got nothing from it. I liked nothing about the shape, especially the way it tapered so narrow. I like to feel thick girths and even the thicker tip of this dildo and it's possibly naughty little hook did nothing for my g-spot.

Unimpressed, we tried it on him, and after several unsuccessful attempts at putting it in because it kept bending at the neck and being generally difficult, we finally got it in. I was able to thrust without the harness slipping or the dildo coming loose at all (those little snaps really keep it in place!) but again the shape of the dildo was poor in performance. My husband said that the tip was not stimulating his prostate at all in any position, and the narrow point really worked against part of his pleasure of the feeling of an open anus. It was almost like nothing at all was in there, though he did like the feeling of being fucked in general.

Usually, anything in my husband's ass will make him cum gobs and gobs even before he orgasms, which is usually quite a thick and sticky mess to clean up. So, though we aren't pleased with the dildo, we love the harness and will try it with some of the other products available for it.
