Pack N Play All Day

The Pete Freestyle underwear is a amazing option for individuals that enjoy packing. They are stylish, extremely comfortable, and most important of all, provide a worry free packing experience. While a small design change would improve them, they are still a must have for jock strap packing enthusiasts.

extremely useful review
The SpareParts Pete line of underwear is designed exclusively for individuals interested in soft packing. The Freestyle is modeled after a jock strap and includes a waistband, front support pouch, and leg straps. The Pete line offers the same packing design in Trunk, Brief, and Commando styles.

The Freestyle is made of 88% nylon and 12% spandex jersey, similar to the popular SpareParts Joque and Theo dildo harnesses. The material blend is silky soft, stretchable, and extremely thin which helps to minimize any concerns of bulkiness. Comfort is the key word here. Care instructions include hand or machine washing (delicate cycle) in cold water with a mild soap (no bleach or fabric softener) and laying flat to dry. They should not be tumble dried or ironed. Washing the underwear did not result in either bleeding or fading of the color. The underwear was not stiff at all from air drying. It was as soft and comfortable as when it first came out of the package. The stitching is well done and appears secure. There is no evidence of fraying, loose threading, or uncomfortable seams.

The back of the package includes a sizing chart as illustrated below (EdenFantasys does not currently offer the 2X or 3X size). The waist band is 1-1/2" wide and the leg straps are 1" wide. Both sit comfortably and stretch as needed while still providing plenty of support. The leg straps wrap around and below the buttocks to frame them in a nice package. The waist band is designed to sit right below the hips and rides low, much like a jock strap would, so be sure to measure correctly. I measure 32" just below my hips and the medium size (32-34") fit comfortably. The sizes appear to run true, although there is enough flexibility that in between sizes can safely size up or down. While the medium felt a little loose to me, that is likely a result of my being used to wearing tighter underwear. Rest assured, I jumped around with a packer inserted and these did not slip or slide down at all. At no time did I feel nervous of an embarrassing situation. I particularly appreciate the looseness when sitting down. Because jock straps are designed to fit snugly, this can also mean uncomfortable tugging/pulling when seated. Not so with the Freestyle. The waist and leg bands stretched comfortably and remained barely noticeable.

Sizing chart:

The crotch panel measures approximately 5" across and 8" long. It essentially consists of three layers of fabric designed to hold a soft packing dildo within two different pouches. The innermost or back layer consists of two flaps that overlap to cover the base of the packer. If desired, the flaps can be folded around the base allowing for direct skin contact with the dildo. The middle layer of fabric contains a 1" vertical slit for supporting the shaft of the dildo. When positioned properly, the head and shaft of the dildo sits in front of the fabric in the middle while the base and testicles remain behind. There is also an elastic strap sewn onto the backside that wraps around the base of the dildo and secures it in place. The front or outermost layer is simply a solid piece of fabric to conceal the dildo. There is a 3-1/2" slit in the upper right hand corner of the crotch panel that allows access for STP (stand to pee) packers. The slit is very discreet and was not even noticed by myself until I read the instructions on how to position the dildo properly. The entire design works very well to keep a packer positioned and remain positioned without shifting or sliding even after vigorous activity.

Package front:

The Freestyle comes packaged in a plastic Ziploc bag which displays an attractive model on the front wearing the underwear. While not discreet, it typifies packaging for men's underwear. Only upon closer inspection would one discover that it is underwear designed specifically for packing. Also included are an instruction sheet for properly inserting a packing dildo as well as a plastic bag to aid in the process. While the process is not difficult, it does take a little practice to position the dildo properly.

1. Wrap plastic bag around shaft of packer. The bag helps the packer slide through the slit in the middle piece of fabric. Once positioned properly, the bag can be removed.

2. Secure the base of the dildo with the elastic strap. The back flaps can either be tucked under the base to allow direct skin contact or wrapped over the base to cover.

3. Once worn, the packer can be accessed through the STP slit if desired.
Experience
Overall, the Freestyle is very well made and I would recommend it to anyone that enjoys the look of a jock strap for packing. I would not recommend these be worn without a packer in place. Since the crotch panel is designed to accommodate a packer, the front appears saggy and loose when one is not in place. Unflattering to say the least. I used Mr. Limpy extra small for demonstration purposes and the Freestyle provided a realistic and flattering appearance, whether worn alone or under clothing. I wore it all day and it was extremely comfortable. Due to the inherent elasticity of the fabric, the Freestyle should be able to accommodate most soft packers. However, the Freestyle is not designed to accommodate hard packing dildos and really would not provide enough support for such activities.

My only criticism is that the design lacks a detail found in a true jock strap. The pouch should provide support by lifting the penis and testicles up and against the body. The crotch panel on the Freestyle is just that, a panel. Ideally, I would have preferred that the edges of the panel have some elastic so that the entire panel forms more of a contouring pouch and hug the body.

Follow-up commentary
While I don't typically pack, I have included these in the wash several times over the past few months to see how well they would hold up. So far there have been no indications that the stitching is coming apart or that the color is fading.

After my review, I was contacted by SpareParts and told that they had plans to make some improvements to the Pete line, including making them more breathable and offering them in natural fibers. That would definitely make an already great product even better.
