Diva dreams sexy soldier - costume discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by I'll Miss You EF :(

I was dying to try this costume out, and I'm glad EF obliged me with not just one, but two from the Doc Johnson Diva Dreams Collection.

The Idea:
Doc Johnson had the idea to either play off the Trans fantasy, or to combine costume role play with pegging (or lesbian strap-on) play. They also made these costumes available in Plus Size but EF doesn't carry it.

The Execution:
So the good people at Doc Johnson crafted "Costume lingerie attached to a comfortable harness system with matching bra and accessory. Also includes 8 inch dong attachment and Vac-U-Lock plug."

The Headband:
This is the accessory included in with this Diva Dreams kit. I was rather disappointed with this accessory. There was nothing to it. It is simply a rectangular piece of patterned fabric. You are supposed to tie it around your head. But I am not found of it. I do like the pattern and I think I'm going to make it into a plush pouch for my Glass wand, because it is very long.

Patterned Bra:
This is my favorite part of the whole set. It is very pretty. It fits like a bikini top, and I really want to wear it to the lake when I go just to sunbathe and not swim. Because I have boobs that are on the smaller side of the spectrum (b-cups) It doesn't show my nipples, or overly expose me. It looks like just a regular bikini top! But, If I were to cut the small stitches to expose my nipples, it just wouldn't quite fit right. Just because I have smaller breasts. It would look much sexier if I had like C or D cup breasts.

Skirt/Harness:
I half way wish that this was too separate pieces. The skirt part fits beautifully, and it is really cute, but the harness fits wonky, and I'm not even sure why. It just looks twisted and bulky. I just don't care for it. the skirt is too small to house a harness. The waist band expands to fit up to 41 inches, and the legs each expand to 36 inches. I am pretty sure that I can cut the straps off the harness and save the outfit.

Dildo/Vac-U-Lock System:
The dildo is the Classic Dong made by Doc Johnson. It is made of rubber, and veined. It is fairly girth-y, especially for beginners to pegging, with a circumference of 5 1/4 inches. Since this dildo is made of rubber it is porous, and it has a slight smell. It is NOT safe to share with multiple partners without using a condom.

How to use the Vac-U-Lock System (I think?):
There were no instructions on how to use the system. I assume you place the base into the harness and shove the dildo onto the base, this takes some effort and is made easier by a small squirt of lube. Rubber is compatible with all lubricants. Just remember that Oil based lubricants are not condom safe.


Overall:
This is a cute novelty set, it looks good on the mannequin, but falls short of functional. I will get some alternative uses (hello, super cute camo toy pouch!) and maybe some fun out of the bikini-style top. But there is no love for this as an actual costume.
