Vac-u-lock dong - dildo discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by bettyboom

I do not have a vac-u-lock system, so just to let everyone know, I am writing this review as someone who uses the dildo as a non-strap on toy. When I was looking through my toy box, I wanted something with a little more texture to it, and upon shopping around Eden, found the Doc Johnson Vac-u-lock dong. I ordered the toy and received it in the mail very quickly!

The toy came with a few other items I ordered completely secure in the box, brand new and sealed. I thought it was funny that there was so much paper stuffing protecting the items in the box, as I have ordered glass items from companies before that didn't take that much care! So, I highly appreciated their dedication to making sure the items were safe!

Upon taking the toy out of the box, the texture of the cock is very strange. The material it is made out of makes the dong seem a little bit sticky all the time. Whenever I put the toy in my toy box (cleaned), I always pull it out and find that it managed to somehow get fuzz or some type of debris on it. The toy is very difficult to keep clean. Although the dong is made from anti-bacterial sil-a-gel, I highly recommend using a toy cover or condom during play with it to keep it clean and protect yourself (as you should anyway). On a good note, the toy is latex free.

The smell of the toy is very difficult to overcome. It has a strange odor of rubber that does not go away. I have attempted play with it several times, using condoms and then washing it, and still, the smell remains. If you even touch the toy for a second to move it, your hands smell like the toy and acquire that odd rubbery smell as well.

On the box, it says it was molded from an actual cock, but I find that very hard to believe. The texture of the veins have to be very over exaggerated if it truly was fashioned from a real cock. The box also boasts of the amazing "realistic detail" of the cock, which I also thought was a stretch (no pun intended). The texture is so ribbed that I actually have a hard time with insertion of the cock. Also, the texture is not a "raging" hard on at all, but is actually a little squishy, which also makes insertion difficult. Some may like this texture, and I would suggest that they use lots of water based lube for a more comfortable insertion.
