The Stryker in its many incarnations is a bit of a legend in the dildo lover's community: he's long, thick, and oh so meaty. The size of this toy is approaching -- and depending on who you ask -- well beyond the point of being a "size queen/king" toy. The sheer size of this gigantic rubber member will be sure to open users wide open and begging for more. As a person who loves anal stimulation, my eyes lit up when I saw I was able to order this toy. This big boy was a challenge I was eager to accept.

The review will be focusing on an under-discussed use of this toy: anal play. There is no denying that this cock is huge, and I will warn potential buyers with anal use in mind that this toy may simply not fit into some peoples' entrances. With any anal toy, and especially a toy of this size, one must take care to avoid tearing or otherwise damaging the anus or bruising their insides. As always, practice, patience and a good water-based lube are key to enjoying and appreciating anal pleasure.

As far as anal use is concerned, I highly recommend riding this toy in a "reverse cowgirl" position. The curve of the shaft is tricky, and I found that for my body I can take this toy deepest in the above-mentioned position. Fortunately, Stryker's big balls lend themselves to being a solid base that allows me to ride him hands-free. The Stryker is best used anally when searching to be stretched to one's limits while still being able to thrust or ride freely. After Stryker is inside and pressing at your anal walls (and prostate, for the men), a whole new level of sensation becomes possible.

This was my first rubber dildo, and I must admit I was not impressed by the material after spoiling myself with a few high-quality silicone toys. Straight out of the package, the Stryker mold felt heavier than a real cock, was denser and more firm than the real deal, and emitted a slightly unpleasant (though unsurprising) mild rubbery smell. Since this is a rubber dildo and thus porous and impossible to fully sterilize, I did not hazard a taste of this particular cock. While the product is listed as being veined, I would not say that the veined texture adds anything noticeable to the sensations once inside.

To Doc Johnson's credit, the texture of Stryker's balls are very pleasing. I am not a fan of the disconcertingly unrealistic testicles inside, being a fan of some playful ball-squeezing. The balls feel sexy, but are not easily pressed. The material has a fair amount of drag, and definitely feels like it will need some lubrication to be at all pleasurable. As an important note, the product packaging toted an icon stating the product is Phthalate-free.

Overall, I love the actual design of my Stryker cock. One big consideration is the curve of this man's shaft: not only does he curve, but he actually gets wider near the top third of his shaft. The curve, at least for my personal anal use, is by far the most challenging part to take. Since this toy clocks in at an alarming 9.25" total length, with 7.75" of his thick 7" circumference length being insertable, I would absolutely not recommend trying to take this toy anally without preparation with smaller toys. This is not a toy for inexperienced anal players, nor is it a good match for those who prefer more average-sized toys. Due to its immense size and absurdly unsubtle appearances, I would vote "no" on him being travel-friendly in most circumstances.

I love the shape of the head, complete with a realistic tip opening. I was, however, disappointed with the underside of this dildo's head. The texture in the area between the end of the shaft and the bottom of his head has an exaggerated uneven and wrinkled texture. While it cannot be felt once inserted, it is still a bit off-putting when I'm admiring this huge member. The frenulum is very realistic and looks sexy, and the veins' color is mostly true to a real cock. I generally prefer my toys to not look too realistic, but Stryker is an exception in my book because of his good looks.

Barring the material which is obviously not ideal, there is much good to say about Stryker's performance. The wide base composed of this dildo's sizable balls allow one to ride him to their heart's content completely hands-free. The firmness of the dildo is a bit of a trade-off: one on hand, he is firm enough to not need a lot of "guidance" getting in, and on the other hand he does not feel quite real once inside. However, I've found with a toy this size I am focusing less on the realism and more on groaning in pleasure as his bulky shaft slides in and out of me. If you're like me, you may find yourself too distracted by how wide your hole is being stretched to care much about how true-to-life he feels. I have been able to take him to the balls a couple of times, though it is most comfortable for me to not do so.

The Stryker realistic dong is Vac-u-lock compatible, but unfortunately I will not be able to review this particular aspect of the toy. I am not in any sort of relationship at the moment that would require a strap-on, though I'm sure being pummeled by this monster would be incredible.

My biggest disappointment of all was the realization that there was no easy way to thrust this toy by hand during anal use. Stryker is too heavy in the shaft, and non-solid balls make it difficult to get a grip on him in order to thrust him in and out. While I did find it was possible, it was much too cumbersome and awkward to be as fulfilling (and filling!) as taking him reverse cowgirl style. Because of this, I would not recommend this toy for anal thrusting, unless perhaps you have a partner who would be willing to help. Riding this big cock seems to be the best way to enjoy him for me, and I imagine the same would go for many anal users.

Stryker picks up lots of lint and pet hair, and it's sometimes a chore peeling him away from the plastic baggie I store him in. I keep this baggie stored in a sealed plastic container that has all of my toys individually wrapped, to avoid cross-contact and lint-collecting. As with any rubber toy, I would highly recommend water-based lubricants, as oil-based lubes can degrade the material and decrease the longevity of your new friend. While water-based lubes are my personal favorite, you may also use silicone-based lubricants during sessions with Stryker. I do not use silicone lubes, as I stretch myself out with smaller silicone toys before daring to take Stryker.

Since this toy is made of rubber, cleaning can be tricky. The underside of the head should get some extra attention to get clean, since the strange texture there has a tendency to trap lube and eventually form an unpleasant flaky residue. I wash Stryker thoroughly in very warm water with anti-bacterial soap, scrubbing with a soft cloth. Rubber cannot be completely sterilized, so I would recommend always using condoms or toy covers during sessions with this toy. If you are going to share this toy with a partner, or use it in multiple entrances, you absolutely will want to use a condom or cover. It is not necessary to use any sort of cover if you only ever plan to use this dildo in one hole of one person, but be warned that failing to cover your rubber toy may result in a decreased lifespan of the product material.

This particular Stryker toy came in simple, hilariously indiscreet packaging. The front panel displays a depiction of the giant curved dong that awaits you inside the box. The box itself is made of simple, disposable and recyclable cardboard. Inside of the box, you will find your Stryker barely fitting inside of its small rectangular prison, wrapped in a thin plastic baggie. Outside of the to-be-expected dildo, you will also find a small, nicely-designed brochure with a little how-to for preparing yourself for a night of strap-on fun with your new toy. On the opposite side of this glossy brochure is a gallery of Vac-u-lock toys and accessories by Doc Johnson. The packaging advertizes the material to be PVC, and has a Phthalate-free seal of quality.

Due to Stryker's tendency to be sticky, I don't think using the original packaging is the best way to store him. The cardboard of the original packaging is thin and easily torn, and too bulky besides. Stryker's large size may make finding a suitable storage area or compartment trickier than most other toys, but a large baggie should do the trick. (or a large toy sleeve for the classier among us!)
