Coming at this review from a heteroflexible, male-bodied perspective, the Dr. Feel Deep is a standard-fare vibrator with extra size and a semi-flexible silicone body.

True to size, the Dr. Feel Deep lives up to its name, sporting an insertable length greater than 7" and bulging curves along its outline. While the silicone texture is smooth, it is firm and somewhat unyielding, especially around its vibrating elements. After its first wash (albeit before as well, but always give new toys a good wash before first use!), I noticed no unexpected odors, tastes, or textures.

Both due to the Dr. Feel Deep being a length and girth size up for me at first blush, our first tryst was shocking, and we needed to take it slow until we built up some communication and trust.

But in all seriousness, the combination of Dr. Feel Deep's density in its first 2-3 inches (its primary vibrating component) and the firmness of its silicone required taking it slow for my early playtime. Nonetheless, since those first few inches are Dr. Feel Deep's most sensational bits, it was more than enough to tantalize me and make me come back for more.

My early trepidation has since fully dissipated, and now the Dr. Feel Deep is one of my favorite toys (see Cons for a caveat to this). It's a hard pounder when I want it rough, a big, vibrating plug when I want to take it easy, and a stimulating tease when I'm in a non-penetrative mood.

It is worth noting that the Dr. Feel Deep is inflexible in comparison to many silicone non-vibing dongs, limiting the depth each thrust can easily span for a novice player, but once you get well-acquainted, it offers a much broader palate of play options and is so much more fun.

In my experience, the Dr. Feel Deep vibrates strongly from about 1.5" down its length, but those vibes quickly sharply fall off as its girth tapers down and it becomes flexible. My personal preferences are for the low, medium, and high stable vibration patterns, but a range of varied pulsation settings are also available and feel great as an external source of stimulation in addition to a deep sensation.
