Perky vibe - rabbit vibrator by EdenFantasys - review by Tub

The Perky Vibe arrived in a little brown box... and not much else! I was kind of surprised to open the box and not see any other packaging, aside from a thin plastic covering, and some paper to cushion it. I'm so used to toys coming in their own individual boxes with branding and information and what-have-you on them, but this one just arrived as-is, no frills, I guess because it's one of Eden's own models.

It did come with a little mesh bag to hold it in, which I appreciated, although, transparent mesh tied with a ribbon that says 'SEXTOYS' is... perhaps a bit on the nose? And maybe not entirely effective for, well, much of anything, except for possible gift wrapping? Happy Valentines Day to me?


The toy itself is adorable! And small. I had a sense of its size before it arrived, but I still ended up surprised by how little it seemed. I had the thought "this would have been a GREAT beginner toy!"

The first thing I did was steal the batteries out of one of my less-loved toys.

It's not getting them back any time soon.

There are only two buttons on this toy-- an 'off/on' toggle button, and a button to cycle through all of its *thirty* (THIRTY!) patterns. Easy enough, especially knowing me and the fact that I have not and probably won't ever use ALL THIRTY settings. In fact, the first time, and all instances afterwards, I've only used the first three intensities, the toy's 'low,' 'medium,' and 'high.'

Getting started, I actually had doubts this would get me off at all! It really seemed just too little and not intense enough. But, like with anything, it took some learning, some adjusting, and then I was able to enjoy this toy to its fullest. "I think I can, I think I can, I think I--!" And I certainly did. I managed a few really satisfying and consistent orgasms, though it takes a little more time than what I would consider my usual. Sometimes getting there quickly isn't always the goal.

As expected, I just won't find much use in thirty different patterns. I'm a one-trick pony; I just like a steady increase in vibration strength. I think what I would have preferred, instead of all these stuttering patterns and presets is maybe one step below this toy's lowest buzz, and one step between it's mid and highest buzz or even a little more strength to get just one more level of vibration out of it, and none of the various patterns.

Other than scratching my head over the number of settings, I'm fond of this toy. I love its magenta-colored silicone, very pleasant and velvety to the touch, cute and functional!

The little bud that's meant to stimulate the clitoris is very flexible, so it can bend and nudge and rub with ease, and this feature may have been the key to reaching my climax with it. Because it has so much flex and movement, I found myself manipulating and rubbing it with my free hand to get the exact sensations I wanted, and getting a little extra friction while I was at it. Something about this felt surprisingly sensual, as I actually have never gotten off with just my hands, and I don't spend much time rubbing and touching myself directly.

The vibrations are strongest at the 'head' of the toy and in the little bud. It's not particularly loud, and there isn't too much vibration transference into the plastic base of the toy.

This toy hasn't produced a strong, intense orgasm for me, so much as a slow build into a long, pleasant orgasm. Enough to make me squirm and sigh and feel satiated enough afterwards, but not much more than that. I'm not always chasing that Big O, so this suits me just fine.
