SVR supreme vibrating rod - realistic dildo vibrator by EdenFantasys - review by Tub

The SVR (Supreme! Vibrating! Rod!) is currently competing with my Usual™ dildo for a place among the well-used toys in my box. The name is full of promise, I think it really does deliver!

The packaging it comes in is very no-nonsense, clean and precise, and doesn't hide the fact that it's a dick in a box, with a big plastic window showing you exactly what you're getting. And it's quite a lot of dick, at 7 1/2", more than I can necessarily even make USE of, but it's nice to know it's there! It's formidable in girth too, but I found it manageable. The thing that struck me most about the design of this dildo was actually its head -- curved and pronounced: it actually surprised me how large the head appears compared to the rest of the shaft.



This thing VIBRATES. Like, really, REALLY vibrates, for a dildo! With just a handful of patterns to cycle through at just 10, I find myself glad I'm not having to click and click and click the little one-button control at its base to get where I want. However, what baffles me is the order they chose to program these patterns in. The very moment I clicked it on, it started buzzing at its absolute strongest setting, which is... Well, it took me by surprise, and I sure did make a very embarrassing noise one time when I forgot just how STRONG it is. Clicking it again brings it down a notch, and then another, and then you get to actual patterns and pulses. How they decided to start it strong, and click to weaker vibrations is stumping me, as someone who much prefers to start lower and build upwards. Not a deal-breaker, but a head-scratcher.

Now, strong as it is, that means this bad boy is noisy, probably the noisiest toy I own now. It was one of the first toys I've had in a while that I laid down with and realized that it could very likely be heard quite easily even through thicker walls and doors.

Since this toy seems to do nothing by half-measures, it comes with a suction-cup base that is so sturdy I'm afraid to use it on my walls, honestly! Luckily, it does come off easily if you pull the right way, but after some experimenting, I can safely say that during play, this dildo is not budging-- it will stay where you stick it.

I mentioned the head earlier and how large it is. The curve of the head is designed for prostate and g-spot stimulation. And it does this well - really well! Maybe a little too well, in my case. I think this toy has taught me that my g-spot needs a subtler, gentler approach. This toy doesn't know subtle. It vibrates hard, fills you up, pokes and prods and nudges very insistently. It's kind of brute, all things said and done, but this is less of a criticism and more of a simple observation. This is, decidedly, neither a beginner toy nor for folks with sensitive bits.

So, I find I don't necessarily prefer it for direct g-spot stimulation. What do I, then?

I like to warm up and tease just using it as an external vibrator. The head is big and round, and the vibes are strong, which makes it surprisingly fun for external use. And I do like it just as a dildo, honestly, no vibes necessary while it's inserted for me. If I'm angling it right, it doesn't jab up into all my more tender spots so much, and then I can just enjoy the shape and texture of it. The wide suction-cup also makes it harness compatible, which is always a huge bonus for me.

This toy is still in my regular rotation, and I'm still fond of it! It's a great dildo for the more experienced who need some 'oomf'.
