This toy is made of TPR, which is a rubber blend that gives a rubbery-plasticy feeling. It has a little drag to it when not lubricated. The texture would be good for anyone from beginner to advanced. Smooth as the toy is, the texture itself won't lend to any added stimulation, but the defined head on the toy is pretty scrumptious when inserted. It did have a mild scent coming out of the package. Kind of like some new rubber or plastic item. After a wash, the smell goes down a lot.
