A little toy for when you are not in a hurry.

Shane's Worlds Waterproof Study Buddy is a cute little toy that works well enough as long as you have enough time to spend on getting yourself off. I used this toy first as a clit stimulator without the jelly sleeve and then with the jelly sleeve and the vibrations really were not the greatest in the world with and without the sleeve. When you first turn it on it seems like the vibrations would be great but once you touch any part of your body the vibrations seem to go away to a very minimal vibration. It is waterproof but in the shower if you want clit stimulation this toy is definitely not good for that. The vibrations go away altogether once you are in the shower with it, it may be different in a tub but I do not have a bathtub to try it out in. Now onto G-spot stimulation. It did seem that the vibrations were a little bit better when the toy was inserted but not so much better to make you cum in a decent amount of time. I used the toy both ways for the G-spot stimulation, with and without the jelly sleeve. Now I must say that this toy is very small and it really should not be shared a condom will not fit securely onto this toy. Another thing about this toy is that the batteries run out very very fast. The toy comes with two sets of four button cell batteries and in a matter of days I went through both sets. I believe that the reason for that is you need a lot of time with it in use for you to get some sort of satisfaction.

This toy is made of two different parts with two different materials. First the bullet is made of a hard plastic and has a small clear plastic twist off compartment to put the batteries in. There is also a nylon retrieval cord that feels as if it will break if it gets caught somewhere. The second part of this toy is the jelly sleeve. I had to do some research on this because the package does not say what the jelly is made up of. The jelly sleeve is a PVC jelly and it is not phthalates free so if you have an allergy I would advise against getting this toy. The bullet portion of this toy is a hard plastic but it is very smooth with virtually no seams. The jelly sleeve portion of the toy feels very squishy with a pleasant smooth texture. The tip of the jelly sleeve has a decent sized head to it that has a nice ridge as well as a few markings which make the shape of a face. I would advise using a water based or silicone based lube with this toy since it has parts that are jelly. You cannot boil or sterilize this toy. I washed mine in warm, not hot, soapy water and also used a toy cleaner. One really good thing about this toy is that there was no off putting smell when I opened the package and the toy did not have any weird smells. Also after cleaning this toy it did not retain any smell from the soap used or the toy cleaner that I used as well. Since this product is jelly it is porous and if sharing a condom should be used but I advise against sharing this toy because it is too small for a condom to fit properly on it.

This toy is about 3 inches long and about 1inch round. It is compact for easy hiding or if you wanted to throw it in your purse. It does have a cute little face design on the head of the jelly penis that actually made me giggle seeing it. The bullet is shaped like a normal bullet and is about the same size as the jelly sleeve. The shape of the toy really did not hit any of my pleasure spots right away. It only had a ridge and indents on the tip of the jelly penis, there were no other ridges or pleasure bumps on this toy. This toy is great for beginners because of its small size and low vibrations. I tend to like strong vibrations so this toy was not strong enough for me. I used this toy to stimulate my nipples and that felt great with the low level of vibrations. The clit stimulation was not really great. The vibrations were too low even on the highest setting for my taste. The toy is not a total loss though since as long as I had enough time it would get the job done.

This toy has two speeds that really are not any different. The whole bullet does vibrate but you feel most of the vibration at the top of the bullet right above where the motor is located. When the jelly sleeve is on you can slightly feel the vibrations throughout the toy but it is mostly concentrated at the tip of the jelly penis head. The controls are off, low and high. It took a little bit to figure out where the control was on the toy and then I found it on the bottom of the toy where you twist the battery compartment. Where the retrieval cord is located is where you turn this toy on and off. The speed really is either low or semi-low, there is no high and I like toys that have a high vibration to them. I would be careful with how you turn the toy on and off though because of where the control is located you may accidentally break the place where the retrieval cord is attached to. I would recommend if you like a little stronger vibration to use the toy with the sleeve off since when you have the sleeve on the vibrations are less. As I said before this toy is great for a beginner since it is very easy to use once you find where the controls are and because you can hide it almost anywhere if you do not want it to be seen.

Since this is a jelly toy you cannot sanitize it like you would other toys you own. I had to wash it in warm soapy water and use a toy cleaner just so I felt that the toy was clean enough. Also a water based or silicone based lube is recommended for this toy since parts of it is made of a jelly material. Also since this toy is so small you can put it any place that you like, it definitely can fit in the smallest of places. I do not recommend storing this toy with or near any of your other toys since it is not phthalate free and may leach onto other toys that you have. If you have a small pouch that would be best for this toy. I store mine in a small velvet-like pouch. No matter what you store it in this toy is small enough to hide in any place and small enough to palm it in your hand to go and wash it after you are done.

The toy came in what seemed to me like a blister pack. The good thing is that I did not need scissors to open the package. There was no leaflet inside to show how to put the batteries in or where the controls to the toy is located. The only thing in the package was a paper that had a design and the name of the toy. It really was not spectacular and you really cannot put the toy back in the package and have it stayed closed for storage.

I did not really like this toy for when I wanted some quick action but it did get the job done when I had the time for it. Other than the vibration being low it is not a bad toy for someone who is just starting out using toys or likes something with a little bit of vibration.
