Where to begin with the Lia Loving Touch? With its uses, of course! I found that the Lia works best for solo masturbation, and feels best (to me) used on the clitoris and surrounding areas. However, you could use it internally as well--for me, it's all in the clit. If this toy was a little more powerful, it would easily be in my top 5 toys--and I own a BIG box of toys. So I feel this toy would be more suited to anyone as long as they are very sensitive in their nether regions. As it is, Lia's oh-so loving touch was just a little too light for me; sadly, it felt more like foreplay than anything that would lead to the big O.

I absolutely love Lia's texture. Her silicone is so smooth and velvety, it's truly a treat to touch her. The very tip of the toy (or head, if you will), has four graduated ridges for pleasure, and then the handle is smooth. There is a faint smell to Lia, but nothing overpowering; in fact, you can't even smell it until you press it right against your nose.

Silicone has a material safety rating of 10, and I like that in a girl... er, I mean, toy.

I love Lia's design--from her silky, ridged head all the way down. She is 6" long, with an insertable length of 4.5". The size is good for anyone who is looking for a good toy for solo play, so Lia doesn't discriminate. I still feel it is more of a beginner's toy or for those with more sensitive parts than I. Due to Lia's small, slender body type, she is easy to hide, but not discreet at all. It's obvious upon sight that it's a 'personal massager' of some sort, and we all know that is just PC for a vibrator.

Lia's power leaves a bit to be desired in my experiences with her. The vibrations are intense and there are ten variations, but this is where Lia falls short. The vibrations are felt more in the handle than the tip (or head) of the toy, resulting in a feather-light whispering buzz in the place I need it to be an intense, rock-my-socks, throw-my-head-back-in-the-pillow-and-scream feeling. With Lia's light touch, it felt like foreplay, but it left me hanging and never delivered. I had to dig my toy box from under the bed and pull out one of my trusty ol' steeds. I even tried using the handle instead of the tip, and that was a disappointment as well.

The push button control is extremely easy to use; perhaps a little too easy, seeing as I bumped the bottom of the plastic insert on the table and it turned on unexpectedly. In order to turn Lia on, just press that magic button right on her bottom and she will hum to life; press her button again in order to cycle through the functions. Lia also has a LED light in the button--when it's on, it will pulse to the vibration patterns. Just hold Lia's button for 3 seconds to turn her off--see? She's a simple girl.

The vibration/pulsation/escalation patterns are as follows, in no particular order, since the toy seems to pick up wherever you left off:

1) Low intensity steady vibration
2) Medium intensity steady vibration
3) High intensity steady vibration
4) High fast-paced pulsation
5) High fast-paced pulsation with long vibration

FYI: That is just a short list and I'm not sure I didn't get confused on trying to write those out. Having a vibrator rumbling around on my desk was distracting so I turned it off a few times and lost my place, so to speak. The 'high' vibrations feel more like the medium on some of my other toys; so as I've been saying, I really recommend this more towards women more sensitive than me (or those who want a vibe with a lighter side). I use most of my toys on the highest settings, so that should be of some help as to whether or not this toy is for you.

As for Lia's noise, I give her a 3/5. You can hear her buzzing on the lowest setting under a thin blanket. I'm going to say that it isn't a toy you can be discreet with.

Lia is also waterproof, but I am not particularly into water play, so I don't really have an opinion on that part. What I can tell you is that when I cleaned her up with soap and water, none of it had gotten into the battery compartment.

Lia is extremely easy to care for. To clean, remove her batteries, replace the screw-on cap, and use soap and water or a compatible toy cleaner. Since Lia has ridges, I would recommend making sure to clean around those well.

I store Lia in the box that she came to me in (batteries removed), which is really cute, by the way (see included pictures). She fits easily back into her molded plastic tray. Once you put her in the tray, slide her back into the box, close the top and she's ready to be stored until your next play date!

Lia came to me in a cute, clear plastic box. Her home is decorated with pink and white flowers, swirls, bubbles and text. You can see her through the box, so unless you don't mind everyone knowing you've added Lia to your family, she must be kept secret!

Lia also does not include any paperwork or instruction booklets; everything you need to know about her is printed on her box.

While I really like Lia, I wish she had a little more power, or that the vibrations were better projected in the tip, where it might actually get me off. It's sad for women like me with clits of steel.
