My perspective on this toy comes from several years of history with it. Ah, how fond it is to remember! This was my first dildo, purchased several years ago by an adventurous (ex)boyfriend who wanted to introduce toys to our sex life. At the time, I was wary but agreed, and whoa mama am I glad that I did.

The Playtoys Petite Peach Teaser is a multi-speed vibrating dildo that is well-suited for use by those who are new to dildos, or who have not been "active" for some time and need a gentle reintroduction. It has a slim tapered head for comfortable insertion and widens slightly to a 1.25 inch body. Made of rubber, one of the older types of materials for sex toys, its texture is not as pleasing as that of the more advanced lifelike dildos, but it does have its positives.

First, it's firm, which allows for even vigorous vaginal and anal thrusting without any unintended bending or slipping out. Second, it is fairly easy to wash clean (to the naked eye) when using a water-based lubricant. I should add that rubber is also safe with silicone-based lubricants, which are a bit harder to clean off since they are meant to be longer lasting. The downsides to being made of rubber are the smell and taste (you need to pre-wash and air out the toy before use) and its relative porousness means you have to be careful to wash it with anti-bacterial soap and not share it with others. Using a condom with it will help cut down on cleaning time and risk.

The vibe is the best part of this toy. It is controlled by a simple twisting dial at the base that graduates from weak to relatively strong vibes at its maximum setting. It is not too loud and probably cannot be heard when used under covers with the door closed. Vibrations can be felt from one end of the toy all the way to the other, so it makes for powerful full-body sensations when inserted deeply. It also works well as a spot stimulator, such as on the clitoris, because the vibrations are powerful enough at the tip (when set to the highest speed, at least for me anyway) to do the job. It requires two AA size batteries, and in my experience has good battery life for many hours of fun. It is also advertised as being waterproof, although I would say it's more "water resistant"... meaning it can withstand being splashed but should not be submerged. I don't think the cap to the battery compartment has a tight enough seal to handle being put underwater without leakage.

This is a fine vibe for vaginal use by beginners, as its insertable length (5.5 inches) is quite modest and can easily be accommodated by most women. The slight ridges and raised veins are a nice plus, and add to its overall pleasure rating. Again, the firmness is a plus with vaginal use since it withstands quite hard thrusting and pushing against body surfaces (for example, stirring it around inside the vagina) without yielding. It should be used more cautiously for anal exploration, especially for those new to anal play. For these same reasons the considerable hardness may be too much for those needing a more gentle introduction, and 1.25 inches may be too much girth for anal virgins, who should probably start with a thin wand or probe instead. Lastly, the very reasonable price means you have little to lose even if it turns out that this toy is not for you.

I would not recommend this toy for intermediate or advanced players, since its length and girth are not likely to please and there is nothing truly special about it. More experienced players, who are adventuresome and know the unique qualities in toys that they enjoy, should look for those things in other items. Long story short this is a basic dildo with a pleasant range of vibrations, good firmness, and good battery life, that will make for a safe addition to your toy box. A nice pleasing dildo for a gentle introduction into sex toys.
