The Animal Instincts Rabbit is primarily designed as a clitoral vibrator. The bullet can be used alone or with the rabbit sleeve for stimulation. The bullet can really be applied anywhere external for stimulation like the nipples or other erogenous zones. TPR is slightly porous, though, so to protect from bacteria the anus should be avoided (externally - internal use shouldn't even be considered since this has no base whatsoever).

This bullet can be used for solo play alone or with other toys or with a partner. Both males and females can enjoy the vibrations from this vibe. Since this is a waterproof bullet, you can also take it into the shower with you.

The bullet itself is hard plastic which is smooth to the touch and has no odor or taste. The rabbit sleeve is made of TPR which is kind of squishy feeling. It sticks to itself briefly when the sides are squeezed together but quickly comes undone again with a little 'squick' sound. There is a faint plastic-y smell to the sleeve but no taste. The texture of the sleeve is smooth everywhere but the raised portions of the face and appendages. Both the nose and ears of the sleeve provide some extra stimulation with the vibe is turned on. The TPR material also attracts lint and hair easily, so storing it in a protective bag will save some headaches.

The plastic bullet is 2 1/4 inches long and approximately 5/8 inch in diameter. It is a light pink with a shiny iridescence to it. The hard and smooth plastic allows for the bullet, when used alone, to slide against your skin easily. The bunny sleeve, from bottom to the tip of the ears, is 3 inches long. It is wide enough to fit snugly over the bullet without excess material. The small size of this bullet makes it extremely easy to hide it, but remember to protect the sleeve from dust and hair.

The purpose of the bunny sleeve is to provide stimulation with the ears and other raised portions of the sleeve. The vibrations from the bullet cause the protruding parts to move at a high speed, similar to the bunny arm on the Rabbit Habit and other rabbit-style vibrators. This gives you the benefit of the rabbit arm without the large insertable vibrator to lug around. It also allows you to use the rabbit feature with any other toy you have, such as a dildo.

The bunny ears do move as intended, but on higher settings they can almost be a bit irritating to the sensitive skin of the vagina. When using the higher vibration patterns, the nose of the bunny actually works better for stimulating without irritating. Since the purpose of this toy is to stimulate the clitoris or other erogenous zones, beginner vs. advanced doesn't really factor in. Anyone can enjoy this bullet vibe if they enjoy vibrations.

The Animal Instincts Rabbit runs on 3 watch batteries which are included in the package. They can be inserted by unscrewing the top and dropping them in. Once the batteries are in, replace the top (I had a little trouble getting the grooves lined up and turning straight, but it eventually went on securely) and then press the black rubber button on the base to turn it on. There are a total of 7 functions that can be accessed through pressing the button.

Vibrations:
1- Low steady vibration that is actually pretty strong to start off with. I'd give it a 3 on a scale of 10.
2- Medium steady vibration, just a step higher than the first. 5 out of 10
3- High steady vibration which is even higher still. 7 out of 10
4- Rolling wave that starts off at the low setting and rolls to the highest and back
5- Fast pulse
6- Super fast pulse
7- High steady vibration again

All the vibrations are the high and buzzy type. I prefer the medium vibration (2), the rolling wave (4), and the fast pulse (5). On the higher settings, the little bunny ears can be a bit scratchy feeling but the nose provides the stimulation without the irritation. To access the different vibrations you have to press the button on the bottom to cycle through. To turn the vibe off, you have to cycle through all the vibration settings.

This is a waterproof toy and it does have the required o-ring to keep it waterproof. I didn't notice any water inside the battery compartment after exposing the vibe to water.

Both the sleeve and the bullet can be washed with warm water and anti-bacterial soap or toy cleaner. The bullet can also be wiped down with isopropyl alcohol if you'd like another cleaning option. TPR is a slightly porous material so if you are sharing this toy, condom use is recommended for the sleeve, though it may hinder its functionality.

To avoid collecting hair, dust, and lint the sleeve should be stored in a closed container. Something as simple as a Ziploc bag will work for this.

This little bullet and sleeve combo can be used together or separately. The bullet is smooth and slides easily against the skin, and can be used to provide firm pressure more effectively on its own. When I'm looking for the teasing, flicking feeling the sleeve can provide, I'll add it into the mix. To remove the sleeve, start at the bottom and lift up, otherwise you risk tearing the sleeve by pulling from the top. The bullet can also be used with other toys, like dildos that have a bullet reservoir, or for clitoral stimulation while using an insertable toy.
