Au Revoir, Womanzier Duo

Ladies, gents, it's time for the Womanizer Duo to collect dust. The LELO Enigma is my new favorite rabbit-styled pressure wave toy, and I've dubbed it my best purchase ever in terms of sex toys. This is the one toy I would take to a deserted island with me, even if I can't control the stimulation separately. Amazing quality toy, lovelovelovelove!

First impression

Enigma caught my eye a few weeks before it came to EdenFantasys, so when I saw it, I placed an order without any hesitation. I have loved LELO's products like the Sona 1 & and Sila, even with its pinchyness since day 1, despite what others complained about online.

The unmarked cardboard box came in quickly, the sender was "WebMerchants Inc.", as usual, and I quite literally tore the poor thing apart because I needed the LELO Enigma like 10 years ago. While the toy did come with a seal, that seal is not sticky enough to remain on, and mine was actually stuck to something else in the box. I didn't even care; I just wanted this toy, seal or not.

Work of Art

The Enigma itself is a work of art. It looks like a LELO Sona 1 merged together with a luxurious G-Spot vibrator. LELO products come travel-locked by default, so I unlocked mine (controls in the vibration section below) and was pleasantly surprised by what I heard and felt on my hands.

Luxurious black silicone encompasses the entire toy, minus the back of the clitoral portion, which has a shiny ABS plastic panel tinted with pinks, reds, and magentas. I could not find any seams. The clitoral mouth/opening is smaller than that of LELO Sona 1 and LELO Sila, so if you have a larger clit, this is a no-go for you. Those with large clits should buy a Womanizer Duo instead.

First Use

In the box
Inside the box, you'll find the LELO Enigma, a USB charging cable, an uneventful excuse of a storage pouch that feels like it was made of bathing suit material (sorry LELO, y'all used to make way better pouches, but now you're skimping and it shows), a warranty card, instruction manual, a lube packet, and a lube... instruction manual, in case you forgot how to use lube, I guess.

Some 10 minutes later, I found myself in the shower with the LELO Enigma and a bottle of water-based lube. A couple of drops later, I inserted the artwork-of-a-sextoy into myself, turned it on, closed my thighs around it, leaned back in the tub, and waited. I did end up waiting quite a while (thanks, anorgasmia - 40min is a while), but I had the *longest*, most drawn-out orgasm to date. I swear I was cumming for over a minute without reprieve. Needless to say, I was beyond exhausted after I was done, but it was a good type of exhaustion.

The clitoral portion is fantastic - it doesn't pinch my skin like how LELO Sila does. If you have a LELO Sona 1 or LELO Sona 2 Cruise while ignoring the Cruise function, the pressure-waves are comparable to that - immaculate. The G-Spot vibrator portion of this creation is rather flexible, but I wouldn't trust myself with trying to bend it backward. I wish it were a little firmer so that I could rub it against my G-Spot more easily.

I'm proud to say that the vibration quality is top-notch. Literally the best (and quietest) rumbles I've felt in ages. Not buzzy at all! When paired together with the pressure-waves, I find it very easy to squirt if I hit just the right angle. The only thing I don't really like is the fact that the controls for vibration and pressure-waves are merged. I can't control them separately, so even though I like the pressure-waves at, say, a 3-4 strength, I can't get the vibrations to a 10 without also setting the pressure-waves to a 10. While I can handle it after some time, for others it will likely be too intense.

Further Experience

Further experience with the LELO Enigma was just as pleasant as the first use. The road to orgasm is quite long for me in basically every situation, but when I can't really thrust a toy, it's even longer. This applies to all pressure-wave rabbits, including the Womanizer Duo and its discontinued predecessor, the Womanizer Inside Out. And just because the road is longer doesn't mean the orgasm is better. Don't get me wrong, orgasms with LELO Enigma are wonderful, but after that first climax I had with this toy, I can't say I had another similar to it. Seems like it might've been a one-off, as godly as it was.

I still dislike the fact that LELO Enigma does not have separate controls for the vibrator part and the clitoral part. Sometimes I want just a whisper on my clit and a jackhammer strength within me, sometimes I want matching strengths, and sometimes I want one part off entirely. This toy does not allow for that. The Womanizer Duo does have this option, but I find LELO Enigma's stimulation more satisfying in the long run.

While lube is not necessary (no thrusting, and you can just slip a finger in to get some of your wet out to coat the surface of the vibrator portion), it's welcome. I like adding a drop of it on my clit and a whole lot of it around my vaginal opening because I like the sensation that lube itself provides. This goes for every toy, not just this one - it's a personal preference for general masturbation. Additionally, I'd like to note that the flat part of the nozzle feels lovely. I want to emphasize the fact that the LELO Enigma does not pinch me when I move, unlike LELO Sila. Still angry about that, even though the LELO Sila is otherwise perfect.

I make sure to clean this toy thoroughly before and after each use because while it's not really a lint magnet, I'm just paranoid about UTIs because I'm prone to them. I stick to antibacterial soap and water, but you may opt to use toy cleaner. Also, it's a little difficult to clean out the clitoral part of the LELO Enigma. The nozzle cannot be removed, and usually, I have no trouble sticking my pinky in the nozzle to clean it but... this one's really tight. I can manage, but it's difficult, and my hands are quite small. So, again, if your clit is even remotely a tidbit larger, do NOT get this toy.

This toy lasts for 2-3 orgasms from me - i.e., good battery. Usually, that accounts for about 2 hours-ish of playtime. Recharging takes just under 1.5 hours. If the LED lights blink slowly, that means the battery's low. When you plug it in to charge, it blinks to show that it's charging. Once it's done charging, the light remains stable. Also, the charger doesn't go all the way into the charging port. It sticks out halfway. I don't understand why LELO does this, but this isn't the first toy with which I've seen them do that.

Vibration Map

As usual, LELO provided us with a bunch of patterns. I find them to be outright annoying, and I don't use them. There are 8 different strengths and 8 different patterns. I just use the steady option but to each their own. I really wish the vibration & clitoral portions could be controlled separately.

Controls are a cakewalk.
Again, you cannot control vibration/pressure waves separately.
- Travel lock/unlock: hold down + & - for 3 sec
- On: + OR ()
- Off: hold down ()
- Increase strength: +
- Decrease strength: -
- Shuffle through patterns: ()

Here are the patterns as I understood them:
- steady
- slow pulses
- fast pulses
- faster pulses
- short escalating pulses
- long escalating pulses
- longer escalating pulses
- semi-random? I honestly don’t know what this is.
  • Very mild, low level vibration
  • Moderate vibration
  • Strong and easily felt vibration

Orgasm Intensity

My first orgasm felt like a miracle. It lasted forever. It also took forever to get there. I'm not really complaining about how it took so long because the road to get there was wonderful. Intensity seems to go down with each subsequent session until it plateaus into an average orgasm intensity with the LELO Enigma, but the road to it is always divine. Literally. The road to orgasm is better than the orgasm itself. Would recommend.
