Waterproof pixies glider - clitoral vibrator discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by Alan & Michele

We bought our Waterproof Pixies Glider purely on impulse, because we didn't have anything like it in our toy box and it was affordable. Neither of us expected a whole lot out of it since it was so small, but we were both in for a big surprise.

Small is the keyword here; measuring approximately 6" in length with a diameter of only 3/4", you can easily hide this toy anywhere in the house. And since it is made of durable hard plastic, you can even tuck it into your travel bag or coat pocket without much worry of any damage being done to it.

The non-porous plastic construction means it’s also easy to clean. Simply washing it with antibacterial soap and water will do. Optionally, you can also give it a wipe down with alcohol to more thoroughly sterilize it. Plastic is compatible with silicone, oil, or water-based lubes, though do keep in mind that water-based lubes will wash off if you use the toy in water.

The shape of the Waterproof Pixies Glider is one of the more pleasing features of the toy. Its slender design makes it comfortable to hold, and the generous length combined with the curved end make it easy to pleasure either yourself or your partner without contorting your wrist into uncomfortable positions. The vibrations are quite intense, leaving a pleasant tingling sensation behind. We found that different sensations can be experienced if you use the very tip of the toy against your skin, as opposed to the back of the curve. Amazingly enough, even though this toy is a virtual powerhouse, it’s very quiet too.

The Glider runs on 2 AAA batteries (not included), and a push button on the end of the shaft turns it on. We were pleased to find that no matter how we held it, we didn't wind up accidentally turning it off; yet it wasn‘t hard to push the button when we wanted to either.

This is one of the few toys we've had that has been truly waterproof. Even when submerged for an extended amount of time, the battery compartment remained dry.

Quite frankly we were amazed that this toy didn’t cost more, since it is so versatile and produces such great results. Even if you normally only go for the big toys, you’ll likely find yourself pleasantly surprised by how much fun the little Waterproof Pixies Glider can be.

We just wanted to post a follow up to let people know that, on top of its other great qualities, this toy will not run you broke on batteries. We used it regularly for nearly a month before we ever had to replace the first set. I suppose that says something for the motor quality too, since we have also been known to use this thing for long periods of time; and it's still as strong as ever. The Pixie has been through multiple baths, showers, and one late-night foray into a pool, and isn't showing any wear or tear.
