For the sake of shortening things let's just call our friend the Clit Hugger G-Spot Pleaser the "Hugger". The Hugger works best as a dual g-spot and clitoral stimulator as advertised. It can be used as a clitoral stimulator alone but isn't stellar in this area and there are better clitoral vibes out there. Where the Hugger excels, at least for me, is really hugging my clitoris, just like the name! This toy was attractive to me because my rabbit vibrator hits my clit very awkwardly and somewhat uncomfortable, and the design of the Hugger truly does conform to me body perfectly in this regard.

However, the Hugger left me hanging when it came to g-spot stimulation for a variety of reasons. I'm open minded as to size, but the Hugger, to me at least, would be far more satisfying if it were another 1/2 to 1 inch longer and larger in circumference. Perhaps a greater curve would have also helped to reach my g-spot. It just didn't give me that vroom feeling. Heck, it didn't even give me that buzz feeling.

Perhaps if I possessed my pre-baby kitty the Hugger would have been more adequate. Thus, I think the Hugger would be great for beginners.

My first impression when I took the Hugger out was that it was very soft, and the bumps provided a pleasurable texture. The smell was slightly chemical and fruity to me, but not overwhelming and not lingering. The bumps on the portion to stimulate the clit feel lovely to me and are a big pro to the toy. I do like how smooth the Hugger is, and not sticky. While not the smoothest toy ever, it feels great against the skin.

The most appealing thing to me about the Hugger when I purchased it was its unique design; I haven't found many toys shaped like it before. The portion meant for clitoral stimulation juts out at a unique angle, and I found it truly lives up to its name and hugs my clitoris (though we know everyone is shaped differently). The portion of the toy meant to stimulate the g-spot however, didn't reach to such great heights, sadly. I could have easily done with another inch of length and wider girth, not to mention a slightly more severe curve.

The toy is fairly small, which makes it great for beginners and great for travel. While fairly obvious what the toy is it isn't obnoxiously phallic.

The main vibration of the Hugger is located in the main shaft of the toy. This means that you won't get direct clitoral vibration, which may effect your enjoyment depending on how sensitive you were. I felt like there wasn't a strong enough vibration delivered to my clitoral area. The vibrations themselves are a higher pitched, faster paced vibration, more of a buzz than a vroom. I personally prefer a deeper, more powerful and more rumbling vibration. The toy didn't seem to have much variation in the vibrations, simply a lower setting and a higher setting. On the plus side the dial base is easy to turn on and off and is pretty mindless. Because the shaft is small the vibrations travel well through it, but the bulk of material in the clitoral area absorbs the vibration.

I found the toy to be fairly noisy, but I'm always trying to be quiet during solo play because my husband is usually asleep after a long work day. The Hugger, with its high pitched vibrations, reminds me of a hive of bees. It's not distractingly loud, but if you want to be subtle a medium weight blanket will cover up most of the sound.

This toy is made of TPR material, which I like because it's pretty easy to clean! Simply use warm water and soap or antibacterial toy cleaner. Because it's TPR it can't be boiled, but I personally don't think it's a toy that lends itself to uses that would require sterilization. Make sure to only use water based lube with this toy, silicone lube can make it sticky. I found that the toy didn't pick up lint or other fuzzies easily, but it's best to store it in the packaging or in its own plastic baggie to ensure it doesn't come into contact with any oil or silicone based lubes.

The plastic packaging was very minimal and there were no instructions. Fortunately the Hugger is not difficult to figure out. The packaging isn't all that great for storage in my opinion, though it is resealable. I prefer to just store it in its own baggy in my toy drawer.

I wanted so badly to like this toy more than I do. The unique design of the clitoral stimulator hugs my curves better than any other toy I currently own, but the g-spot stimulation just doesn't do it for me. But, if I had to pick between a toy that was too big or one that fell a little short I'd pick the small toy in all honesty. The TPR material is silky and smooth and the textured bumps also provide fun stimulation.

The vibrations are moderate, though high pitched. I wish the vibrations were just a bit deeper though.

Though it probably won't be my "go-to" solo toy, I think the Hugger will stay in my rotation for its unique, hugging shape.
