This is pretty much your basic vibrator, with a kick. I have to say that I wasn't too excited to try this out, as I have a preference for rabbit type toys, but I was impressed when I turned it on. You can clean this toy with an antibacterial soap or a toy cleaner. As far as cleaning, you can't really get any easier. It is also waterproof so it could be used in the bath or shower.

The Power Stud Rod has a push button control and 3 speeds. I always use all my toys on the highest speed and haven't really found any that I couldn't take on the highest speed. Like I said before, the vibrations that this thing pushes really impressed me. If you're a beginner, it's great to have 3 speeds to choose from, and be able to increase the speed as you become more comfortable using them.

This does take 2 AA batteries, and as with all my toys, I tried using my rechargeable batteries in it and it ran them down in no time. Some toys work well with rechargeable batteries, others don't, which is fine. I just prefer to use rechargeable batteries, and switch them out between them.

When I used the Power Stud Rod, I first started out by using it in the intended way which was inserting it. It worked great, and I loved the vibrations. I am a sucker for a clit orgasm though, and decided I would try it out in that way. It was awesome! The fact that it is pretty hard worked wonders and felt amazing. The strong vibrations were awesome as well and I was coming in no time. So this would be great for internal or external pleasure. I can say that this is mild compared to my other toys, so it really isn't my favorite, but the strong vibrations will keep it a close second.

Overall, I would recommend this to anyone who is new to using sex toys. If you're experienced with them and want a little more fun, then I would look elsewhere.
