The Elysium has been on my wish list for a long time. Based on the specs (7 inches of insertable length, 1 1/2 inch diameter, textured and angled for G-spot stimulation) it's basically my ideal vibrator, so obviously I had to get it. My first impression: it was bigger than I anticipated - the specs weren't off, just my ability to conceptualize them - and heavy, which is typical for large vibes like this one. Nevertheless, it was nicely made.The silicone isn't as satiny as some of my other vibrators, but the construction is lovely. The Elysium is also firmer than many of the vibrators I own - it can be bent if you press on it with your hand, but doesn't have the easy give that softer, more flexible vibes do.
There is only one control button; hold it for a second or two to turn the toy on or off, and press to cycle through the different modes. The seamless charging port is built into the base - don't freak out if it takes quite a bit of pressure to get the charger in the first time, as it did for me; you won't break the toy!

Now that I've run through the specs, let me tell you what an absolute rollercoaster this toy was.

Holy. Sh*t. I already mentioned that this toy is perfect for me on paper, but I was not expecting to be knocked out of the park on my very first use. The low-level vibrations aren't anything crazy, but let me tell you that this thing can get INTENSE. Because of the strength of the vibrations, it is slightly noisier than some of my other vibes when on the higher speeds, but gets fairly quiet once under the blanket and/or inserted.

Lube is definitely recommended, since it's a fairly thick toy and doesn't have that ultra-smooth glide. The bumps on the shaft stimulate every inside inch of you, and the upturned tip is PERFECT for hitting the G-spot dead-on.

There aren't many penetrative vibes that can make my eyes roll all on their own, but I swear to you, my toes were curling in *seconds* without even touching my clit. The thick, bulging shaft filled me out to perfection, and the G-spot simulation was unbelievable.
