The Futurotic Clit Stimulator is like two toys in one. It is the classic California Exotic bullet with a sleeve that can be slipped over the bullet. Both pieces are designed for clitoral stimulation, but can also be used to stimulate other erogenous zones. The tiny tentacles on the sleeve feel great on nipples, and if you are fluid bonded to your partner (of any gender), you can even tease them with it as well. The sleeve is not safe for external anal stimulation.

The bullet without the sleeve can be used for stimulation of any erogenous zone, including the external anal area. The bullet without the sleeve is not designed to be inserted anally or vaginally.

This toy can be used easily for solo play, and is also ideal for couple’s play. The control panel at the end of the power cord can stay in a partner’s hand so they can control the power while you enjoy the ride!

The control pack and the bullet are both made of plastic, with a safety rating of 8 here at Eden. The control pack is pink and the bullet is plastic with a silver coating over it. The control pack is somewhat textured plastic, to make it easy to hold onto even if your hands are slippery. The bullet is smooth plastic with a seam that goes around the middle.

The sleeve that fits over the bullet is made of a material called Futurotic. It goes by other names depending on the manufacturer. This material has a safety rating of 1 here at Eden. Futurotic is designed to mimic real skin, and it does so quite effectively. The downside is that the material is extremely porous and sensitive and is impossible to sanitize. The sleeve is completely smooth and very stretchy and squishy. It has a slight chemical odor to it when held up to the nose. It feels very sticky before cornstarch is applied to it, but after applying the cornstarch it is perfectly smooth. It will collect some lint, fuzz and hair, but not much after being rolled in cornstarch.

This toy has the basic bullet design, with a long cord connected to the controller. It can be used separately, or you can slide the bullet into the Futurotic sleeve.

The Futurotic Clit Stimulator is controlled by a turn dial on the control pack. There is no on or off button, simply twist the dial to turn it on, and continue twisting it to turn the power up. To turn the power down and turn the toy off, simply twist the dial in the opposite direction. The turn dial style of controller allows the user to customize the power and find just the right level. The dial turns easily, but has enough resistance that it doesn’t get easily bumped or changed.

When rating vrooms and bees I always use the Je Joue MiMi as a point of comparison. The Futurotic Clit Stimulator is much buzzier than the MiMi. It has a huge variety of settings, such as:




The entire bullet vibrates when powered up. The bullet’s powerful buzz can definitely numb your fingers (or even wiggle free from your grasp) when used without the Futurotic sleeve. With the sleeve in place the vibrations are dampened a bit, and don’t numb your hand quite as much.

Futurotic is a higher maintenance material than some others. It is delicate and sensitive, and can absorb dyes from other materials. It is very porous, making it easy for germs and dirt to hide. Though it is recommended to cover all toys of this material with a condom during use, doing so with this toy would defeat the purpose of the tiny tentacles.

The sleeve on this toy should be washed before and after each use, and after each use it should be dusted with cornstarch. To clean it, simply use warm water and your favorite soap or toy cleaner. Before storing it, be sure to dry it thoroughly and dust it with cornstarch. Don’t use any powder containing talc, since talc has been linked to cervical cancer. Then store it in a cool, dark place in its own plastic baggie, sock or toy pouch. It should not come into contact with toys of other materials during storage. Only water based lubricants should be used with the Futurotic sleeve; but if you’re using the plastic bullet only you can use any lube you want to.

Keeping the bullet and the control pack clean can get a bit trickier, since neither is waterproof. The bullet can be very carefully washed with soap and water, just be sure no water gets near the area where the cord connects to the bullet. If that scares you, a damp rag with some soap on it or a toy wipe can safely be used to clean the bullet, control pack and cord. These parts can be dried with a towel before being stored. To sanitize, the bullet, control pack and cord can all be swiped with alcohol.

The bullet is powered by 2 AA batteries in the controller. Be sure to remove the batteries before storage to prolong their life.

This toy comes in a flimsy cardboard box that is anything but discreet. The toy and the sleeve come in small plastic bags inside the box. A small bottle of maintenance powder is also included in the box.

The Futurotic Clit Stimulator delivers a unique experience. The bullet feels like any other bullet when used alone. I was surprised just how much buzz its little motor kicked out! In fact, depending on your anatomy, you may be able to use the bullet hands-free by wrapping your outer lips around it to hold it in place. That’s a plus!

The sleeve that fits over the bullet is also very unique. The tiny tentacles deliver much more pinpointed stimulation and really do feel amazing all over the body. The sensations they provide are much more subtle than the buzzy vibrations from the bullet by itself. If you can manage to get one of the tentacles right on your clit, or inside the hood, the stimulation is much stronger than it seems anywhere else.

Overall, I definitely liked how this toy felt when in use. I still have three main issues with this toy, though.

1 – I noticed that the bullet heated up really quickly when turned up on high. It actually got uncomfortable for me during use, so I turned it off and switched to a different toy. When using the sleeve, that may not be as noticeable, but it makes me think that perhaps the motor will burn out fairly quickly.

2 – The sleeve also seems like it will have a relatively short life. The Futurotic material is very delicate, and just from stretching it to put it over the bullet it seems to get some damage. It’s also really porous and rather high maintenance since you must dust it with powder after each use, and wash it before each use.

3 – Since the toy isn’t waterproof, cleaning is a little more difficult. I rarely (more like never) use toys in the tub or shower, but I do always prefer waterproof for the ease in cleaning. Since this isn’t waterproof, it’s very difficult to even wash the bullet for fear of water getting in the little hole where the power cord attaches.

My overall impression of the toy is that it’s a really neat idea that feels really good. In practice it just misses the mark for me.
