The Luxe Renew has a plastic handle and the body is made of TPR, a durable rubber that's more porous than silicone so the safest way to share is with a condom or cleaned very well. Use warm water and soap. I found it to collect lint easily, but it came right off with just a little cleaning. The body is mostly rigid and has a smooth texture, but it has a surprising amount of drag so if you don't like that feeling, lube up.

The Luxe Renew is a delight to hold! The round handle prevents it from getting away or slipping out of the hand. I could maneuver it and change speeds with one hand since the button is easy to access. It's the right size and has all the right curves - I like holding it against my clit and vulva to tease myself. I find a new way to use it every time. It's small enough to be hidden easily, but I'm pretty sure anyone could tell what it was upon sight.

One button, seven modes, all of them amazing. I was surprised that I had to click through all of the modes to turn it off - it's a good thing I never have to stop and hide it quickly. The vibrations are most powerful in the body, not the handle. It's pretty quiet for such intense vibrations - it doesn't go through doors or walls. The vibrations are as follows - 1. A low buzz, great for tickling 2. A more intense buzz, and a little louder 3. An intense, consistent vibration that might be too much for someone with a sensitive clit 4 - 7 are powerful alternating vibrations that will occasionally stop for just a second, leaving you squirming for more.

So far I've had no problems cleaning it. It picks up lint like a cheap suit but it comes off so easily that I really have no complaints.

The packaging was clear, plain packaging. If you give this to someone as a gift, you should put the box in another box before wrapping it. The instructions were more about safety than anything else.

I'd say it's travel-friendly, however, the button is triggered pretty easily in movement so surround it with soft things or take the battery out if you throw it in a suitcase.
