The Mini-G is brought to us by Smile. Smile is a sub-line of toys by You2Toys. This cute little toy is marketed as a G-spot toy, but works brilliantly as a clitoral stimulator. Really, it can stimulate any part of the body. At 5 inches, its compact size makes it non-intimidating and great for a beginner. I would highly recommend this as a first toy. It's small enough to take anywhere. It works awesome solo, but even better with a partner as a little teaser.

I can't recommend this for anal use because it lacks a base, but a vibrator enhancer will add a flare to make it safe.

The Mini-G has us working with 2 materials that our body will be exposed to. The shaft is made of silicone and the base/cap is made of plastic.

The silicone shaft is very soft and smooth and a solid 10 on the safety scale. There is no porosity to it which makes this material great for any user because it's easiest to keep and care for. I really like the way it feels. It's soft and very smooth. There's texture on it, but it's very minimal and doesn't add any kind of extra stimulation. Just a few swirls closer to the bottom of it.

The plastic cap is smooth and is an 8 on the safety scale, but that's not much of a concern because only the silicone is inserted. There's no ring to seal it, so it is not waterproof. This prevents it from being safe in a shower or pool.

It can collect lint, hair and dust, but not as badly as other toys can. You can feel in the shaft that there is a hard plastic underneath, but you can feel some give in the curved shaft. If you squeeze it, you can feel a little squish to it. It's creates very minimal drag. That's nothing a little water-based lubricant won't fix. Silicone lube is not recommended with this. If you use a high-quality silicone lube, make sure you do a patch test on it to make sure it doesn't discolor and become tacky.

This toy is completely tasteless and odorless.

The size of the Mini-G is just perfect for travel. It has a gentle curve to stimulate the G-spot, but because it's so slight, it may not please everyone in that way. It's nice and compact to fit in your purse or bag. It's a great size for someone new to toys, but its multiple vibrations could please a more well-versed toy user. This is not a seamless toy, but the seam is very faint and cannot be felt during penetration. It doesn't create difficult cleaning either.

It's not a realistic design, so I wouldn't call it discreet, maybe somewhat. Its lavender color and swirls make it a very cutesy toy. If you need really strong vibrations, like the Hitachi, or if you're a size queen and need significant girth, I wouldn't suggest this toy.

I was very surprised by the performance of this toy. The curved tip did next to nothing for my G-spot. While I was let down by the limited G-spot action it delivered, its vibrations completely made up for it.

It's operated by one AA battery. It has a single button on the bottom of the cap. It's pressed once to turn on. Continue to press it and it will cycle through its multiple vibrations. To turn it off, all you have to do is hold the button down for about 2 seconds. This little toy has an impressive 7 vibrations. They are surprisingly strong and work so well as a clit stimulator. It's not the best for thrusting as its length is too short. If it matches your anatomy for G-spot stimulation, the added vibrations could work wonders.

The vibrations are strong. The first few are a bit buzzy but move to a more rumbly pattern. They're not too loud and definitely couldn't be heard through closed doors. The seven vibrations cycle through steady to patterned.

I've used it a few times now and the power has not decreased yet, so it doesn't seem like a battery guzzler. Overall this toy is simple and easy to use!

Given the materials and design, the Mini-G is very easy to care for and keep. Cleaning can be done by removing the battery and washing with a mild soap and water. I use my favorite California Exotics toy cleaner. I rinse it under warm water, then saturate it in the cleaner for about 30 seconds, then rinse and pat dry with a chamois towel. Be careful of getting the base wet, since it is not waterproof. Do not store in direct sunlight or extreme heat.

It didn't come with any type of storage pouch, but the box is a smaller size, so it can be kept in that, though it is not very discreet. It has a flip top that has transparency that reveals the toy through it. A zip-lock bag will work just fine for storage as well. I keep it in one of my spare pouches that came with a previous toy. It came with a very lengthy instructions manual.

Like I previously mentioned, I was quite surprised at how well the vibrations worked with this toy. It works perfectly as a clit stimulator. I bought this primarily to have a more compact G-spot toy, since I collect all things for that purpose and I was actually on the hunt for a small clitoral stimulator, so I was let down initially then brought back up when I discovered how awesome it worked with its alternate use.

Since I don't know much about this company that produced this toy, I did the flame test to make sure this was quality silicone and not some lame silicone blend. Pure silicone won't melt as a result of a flame test.
I can vouch that the Mini-G is quality silicone as the flame barely left a mark.
