The XPointer will make a great beginner vibrator. It can be used as a Clit Stimulator or inserted for vaginal pleasure. It should not be used as an anal vibrator due to the size and the fact it has no flared bottom. This vibrator can be used alone or with a partner, whichever your case may be.

The Xpointer is made from plastic, which you will find is rated an 8 out of 10 on the Eden's Material Safety Scale. The plastic used is slicker than others I have purchased. This makes it slightly harder to hold onto as well as extra slippery if you use lube with it.
There is no smell upon opening the package.
This vibrator has no texture to it, extremely smooth. There is also not give to the toy making it extremely rigid. Due to this some caution should be taken if thrusting too hard as it could cause bruising if it hits the pubic bone.

This toy is about as straight as they come, nothing wrong with that some people really enjoy this design.
The dimensions of this toy are: 6 3/4" long, with 5 3/4" being insertable, the circumference is 2 7/8". This is a good size for beginners or those who don't use toys that often. For me personally the toy is a bit on the small side.

I would not call this toy discreet as you can plainly tell what it is. You could travel well with it though by dropping it inside your purse or even a carry one. Due to the small size I would consider this toy to be hidden easily, slip it under your pillow, under the mattress, or even the smallest open spot in your toy box.

The first thing you need to do to get this toy going is to unscrew the bottom and place 2 AA batteries inside, make sure the base gets screwed back on straight and tight. It took a few tries to get it straight, it likes to go on at an angle.

To use, push the very end of the toy. This is your on/off switch as well as the button used to rotate through the 10 different vibrations available. When you are finished, simply push the button and hold for approximately 3 seconds to shut it off.

Though there are 10 speeds/functions I found even the most powerful one to be of average power. If your looking for something with power, you will want to keep looking.

This toy will rate a 3 on the buzz scale from me. Not extremely loud; yet loud enough to be heard from under the blanket.

I could not find on the box if this toy is waterproof or not, therefore I did not test it out as to not ruin it if it is not.

As this toy is made of plastic you can wash it with soap and water or your favorite toy cleaner. For storage purposes you can use the box (if you have room), a plastic baggie, or even just lay it in your drawer or toy box. Water based lube will work great with this product.

The Xpointer came in a plastic box with bright pink and black cardboard inside. Not discreet at all, the box is sturdy enough to last for quite some time as a storage box though. It could be used as a gift box, I would recommend thinking of the audience around when deciding though.

This is a great toy, could have been a favorite of mine when I first started out. At the place I am at now it just isn't what I was looking for. I still give it a 5 star rating, as it will be great for the right person.
