Traditional vibrator discontinued

Oh Janine...don't be so loose!

Janine is a traditional vibrator that offers comfortable stimulation through a UR3 sleeve that is removable. It is multi-speed with a dial base. The idea of a softer and more comfortable sex toy experience was the mission, but the design of Janine was a failure.

extremely useful review
I really have a peeve for all things plastic. I still find myself ordering plastic products all the time. I have been looking for something softer. I have seen so many new, soft materials for a variety of masturbators and sleeves. But finding something that is soft for a woman without it being flimsy at the same time… this is near impossible. I ventured out and found a mild solution. There are so many sleeves available for traditional vibrators. I am not sure if it is the lack of technology or I just cannot find other selections.

In search for this wonder toy I stumbled upon the Janine UR3 soft sleeve and vibrator by Doc Johnson. It is extremely affordable at only $12.99 available at https://www.edenfantasys.com. It was appealing from first glance due to the material. The sleeve for the traditional vibrator is made of UR3. I know from experience that many male sex toys are made of this super soft, realistic material. I think I drooled briefly. Of course I had to try it.

I wanted something soft and comfortable to bang away on and thought just maybe Janine could help me out on this one.

So let’s get the basics out of the way. The set is one pearl white, plastic traditional vibrator and one fuchsia UR3 sleeve. It is 7 1/2” long with an inserting length of 6 1/2”, a circumference of 5”, and a diameter of 2”. The size is pretty standard for any traditional vibe. The vibrator has a dial base that is adjustable to get the right speed. It starts very mild and then climbs to pretty intense vibrations as the dial is turned and is powered by two AA batteries. The surface of the vibe is smooth and seamless, odorless and tasteless. The sleeve is very soft and squishy. It is a light pink that has a few small nubs at the tip of the sleeve. The sleeve is very stretchy. It fit the vibe very well while in the packaging, but after first use and cleaning it seemed to be over stretched. It is made of UR3.

So other than getting into major detail about the traditional vibrator that most of us have probably experienced, I want to focus on the special sleeve that it came with.

UR3 mimics real skin. It is so soft. It is squishy and absolutely wonderful. Just the feel of it makes me sing "Yee haw"! However, it is very porous. But there is a price to pay for everything. This material will absorb anything and everything; hair, dust, bacteria, etc. It needs to be cleaned before first use, cleaned before and after each use, and then dusted with a non-talc corn starch to keep it soft and not sticky. It can be cleaned in warm water with an antibacterial soap. Also, never share the sleeve. It can’t be sanitized and a condom is not usable with a sleeve. For best safety, just be selfish with it. Another sacrifice of UR3 is only using water based lubricants. Silicone and oil based lubes will destroy the material.

I fell in love with this sleeve. I had this really plain and simple vibrator that turned into the most comfortable sex toy I have ever used. I don’t think I can emphasize how comfortable it really is. But I must finally name a major disappointment. I have used this toy many times, but at this point my sleeve is ruined. The sleeve is, well, a sleeve; it has to be removed to be cleaned and then placed back on the vibrator. With each cleaning it seemed to become more and more stretched. Eventually it had tears and was larger than the actual vibe. Long story short, it has hit the trash. I am not sure if it was a lack of quality or the design of using a sleeve over plastic. Not sure. But I am now left with my traditional vibrator. I hope to find a better quality sleeve or toy that has this terrific soft, realistic feel. But Janine has failed this mission.

I had one from the same company that I gave to a friend. At the time I was inexperienced and if I were to do the review now I bet I would not have been so kind. Great review hun!

    "Oh Janine.."

Very nice review AKAme, I also enjoy a softer toy every so often. Too bad Janine's sleeve had to get all loosey goosey and fall apart.

I'm not sure how I feel about this sleeve. It doesn't seem like much of an improvement on the original vibrator.
