Traditional vibrator discontinued

Ooh La La!

Je t'aime Septembre is a traditional vibrator with a twist: there are five different functions of varying speeds and patterns. I would like this more, however, if adjusting the controls wasn't such a pain in the ass.

I feel that everyone should have a traditional vibrator in their sex toy arsenal. Even if you can't come with only it, at least it can work for foreplay during sex.

Most traditional vibrators are fairly basic function-wise. Usually the vibe may be multi-speed, but not multi-function. Not so with this vibe. There are allegedly five functions to this bebe, from generic vibrating to pulsating and escalating. I say "allegedly," because the other two functions are more increased speed/tempo versus unique settings.

Appearance wise, this is a very nice looking beginner's vibrator. Its packaging shows this toy's French origins, as it reminds me of the European beauty products in Target and Marshall's. It's conservative in that there's no naked women and the like on the box, but it's still pretty. The package is white with little flowers and other basic designs throughout the box. The vibrator itself is a very eye-appealing ice blue color. The hard plastic is very smooth. At the bottom of the toy is a oval like structure with the toy's single button on the back.

To control the toy, you have to press on the button to turn it on, change the settings, or to turn it off. It is not sensitive; you have to press down like as if you were trying to stop a bleeding wound. I like the speed and the multi-functions, but the button is so stubborn that the overall experience is not as enjoyable as I want it to be. You are supposed to press down for three seconds to turn the toy off. It can take a while for the toy to switch functions, however. Press for just a millisecond too long and you'll have to start all over again since you just turned your toy off.

The French developers had a very good idea when they brainstormed a multi-function traditional vibrator (in a beautiful, unisex color at that), but that damn button is ruining everything in my opinion. If the button problems were resolved, this could be an awesome beginner's toy.
Follow-up commentary
I have used this toy only one other time since the review. I feel this is such a shame, because I really like the color and vibrations. But the control button just sucks all the potential joy out of this toy for me.
