Shortly after my first experience using a toy that stimulates with airflow and suction, I decided I needed to try another…for science, obviously. Like the first toy I used of this kind, I had read a ton of VERY positive reviews online, and they all had one thing in common - claims of out-of-this-world, mind-blowing orgasms. Who doesn’t want that, right? So once again, I clicked add to cart and waited very impatiently for my order to arrive.

What felt like 10 years later…it arrived. The first thing I noticed was how sleek and slim the Womanizer Classic was. The device itself was still rigid, but the silicone tip was smooth, and it came with 2 sizes of interchangeable tips to pick from. The device itself was very comfortable in my hand and didn’t feel too heavy, plus it is the prettiest shade of purple. One thing that I noticed right away was the placement of the buttons to control the toy, they were very easy to access, and the power button was at the bottom of the device so that it can’t be accidentally turned off when trying to change the intensity level.

I tested the device against my hand to get a feel for the different intensity levels and to determine how much lubricant I would need to get a nice suction. One thing I immediately noticed about this toy was that the suction tip was quite flat and closer to being flush with the body of the toy. From the reviews I had read before making my purchase, this was listed as a design change to help with targeted stimulation.


Once I was satisfied with my tests, I decided it was time to give this one a try to see what it could do…

My first use with this toy did take a little adjusting to find the right spot, I think this is probably because I had previously used a similar toy with a slightly different body style, and I was trying to hold this one the way that I was used to. Once I got it positioned in a comfortable spot, I let it sit for a moment on the lowest setting and made a few adjustments to the pressure I applied to figure out what felt best.

Immediately I realized the lowest setting wasn’t going to work for me. With the Womanizer, the airflow is much more gentle, and there is a less added sensation from the tip of the device because it’s smaller. The feeling to me was very gentle and delicate, the first setting would be great for someone who is really sensitive to clit stimulation and is able to orgasm easily from lower-powered toys. I, on the other hand, like something that’s a little stronger, and I settled at starting on level 3 and then increasing the intensity level when I started to feel that I was getting close to an orgasm. There are 8 intensity level settings on this device, I found 3-6 the most comfortable for me.

My biggest disappointment, though was the noise - once I moved away from the lowest setting, it could definitely be heard through a closed door. It was much louder than I expected; however, it wouldn’t be a deterrent to stop me from using the Womanizer.

Like other toys of its kind, there is really something amazing about the feeling you get from contactless stimulation with airflow. It took me a bit longer to orgasm with this one, but the feeling was the same - like riding a wave that just keeps going. I was able to have more simultaneous orgasms with the Womanizer - I think it's likely because it’s a bit more gentle, and the airflow is a little different from the other toy I have that is similar. One thing I did read over and over while trying to determine if this was the right toy for me was that it mimics the feel and sensations of oral sex. While it does mimic the sucking feeling pretty well, not much can match the feeling of a soft, warm tongue on your clit.

My number one recommendation with this toy is to use lubricant or, better yet, give it a try in the tub or shower. The Womanizer is 100% waterproof, and it SHINES when used in the bathtub; I was able to get a slightly “tighter seal.” I also suggest playing with the pressure that you use, as I noticed different sensations depending on how much pressure I used.

With a bit more playtime, I did find that the Womanizer was extremely comfortable in my hand, and the controls were easy to change while using. The big downside to this one for me was that it’s a little more gentle than I was expecting - compared to a similar toy that I had used pretty regularly prior.

All in All, it’s a great toy, and it gets the job done, and it does it well. If you’re looking for a toy to add to your collection that is pretty much guaranteed to get you off, the Womanizer is probably it.

This toy is pretty straightforward, and truthfully it’s never occurred to me to use it other than as intended. The airflow from the tip of the device really only works one way - I have, however, used it on my breasts and for nipple stimulation and was pretty satisfied with how well it worked.

While I was slightly underwhelmed by this toy, I won’t deny how good an orgasm feels with it. Vibrating toys often leave me feeling sore or numb, and the suction and airflow of this toy allow you to keep going after your first big O. It lives up to the hype and is something I think anyone with a clitoris should give a try at least once.

I find that I enjoy this toy best for solo play, primarily while laying on my back or slightly propped up. I have tried it with a partner as well and found that it really only worked well for me when I used it during doggy style - I did have to apply a bit more pressure when using it with a partner to keep the seal, but overall it still provided a great experience.
