This beautiful vibe can be used alone or with a partner. I would recommend it for more experienced users as it is a little bigger than most starter vibes. Great for vaginal play, I definitely would not recommend it for anal novices, although those of us with more experience could certainly enjoy it that way.

The Uranus is made of a smooth jelly, with beautiful waves up and down its length that come together at the tip. It feels soft but firm at the same time. It has a slight smell to it, but nothing offensive. Again, beginners might find it a little uncomfortable due to the ribbed waves, as you can feel them upon insertion.

The shape of this vibe makes it perfect for more advanced users; beginners might find it a bit overwhelming as it does tend to fill you up and you can feel the waved ridges. I like the looks of it as well as the soft over firm feel. At 7" long and 4.5" around, it isn't easy to hide, but I always carry it in my overnight case wrapped in a soft cloth.

The vibrations seem to travel the entire length, which is great to me. It's not centered in any one section. The twist control at the base is easy to operate - without coming off, as this is where you put the 2 AA batteries as well.

Caring for your Uranus is simple enough: because of the jelly material, you do not want to use anything harsh to clean it. Simply use a cloth with warm water and mild soap or toy cleaner. Be careful not to get water in the base. It is not waterproof, so no tub play. A water- or silicone-based lube is recommended.

It comes packaged in a clear blister pack that is easy to open, but if giving as a gift, I would recommend putting it in a box or a bag.

I love the way it feels with the wave lines and how it made me feel filled up. One thing I did not like was if you do not dry it properly after cleaning it, it becomes a bit tacky feeling. This is fixable with another good washing with warm water and making sure it is dried well and stored in a cool place.

Of course I was heartbroken, until I made my way back to the store where the first one came from and brought home its twin; happiness reigned once again in my bedroom.
